Baked Buffalo Wings

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2010
This was fantastic! I used chicken breasts instead (4 large ones), cutting them up into strips. I coated them, then refrigerated them overnight. I put them on a very well-greased cookie cooling rack in the baking sheet, and cooked them (without hot sauce mixture) at 425 for 30 minutes. Then I turned them over and cooked for 15 more minutes. When they were done, I put them in the hot sauce mixture to fully coat them and served them that way, with blue cheese. SOOO good! They weren't soggy at all, super crunchy/crisp, and very tasty. See photo for proof. :)

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2008
This was so good! I made a few changes based on reading other reviews: I used 1/2 cup of canola oil and 1/2 cup of applesauce; I did 1 cup of white sugar and 1 cup of brown sugar; I used about 3 cups of grated zucchini instead of 2; and I added chocolate chips to one of the loaves instead of walnuts. the bread was SO moist! next time I will probably use all applesauce instead of any oil, and I may cut back a little on the cinnamon (perhaps 2 to 2 1/2 tsp. instead of 3), but really, this bread is fantastic!

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2008
This was amazing. I made a few alterations based on reading some of the reviews. I used ground turkey instead of ground beef, and only used 1/4 cup of milk. I replaced the saltines with plain bread crumbs. I added diced green peppers and a few dashes of worchershire sauce. I added the ketchup and brown sugar on to the top of the meatloaf when it had only 15 minutes left to bake. Superb! I got rave reviews from everyone!

Cabbage Fat-Burning Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2008
I really loved this soup! It was so easy to make and it really quite tasty. I halved the recipe and it still made QUITE a bit (will end up freezing some). I also used the Spicy V8 juice instead of regular tomato juice and that added the kick I feel it needed. Great recipe - will make again!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2007
What a great recipe, and the reviews were very helpful! I tweaked a few things...I doubled the recipe (but not the crumb topping) to make bigger muffins. I added vanilla extract to the mix. I used fat free buttermilk instead of milk. I used frozen blueberries but could have added more. I rolled the blueberries in flour first so they wouldn't sink in the mix. And I let the muffins cool in the muffin pan for an hour before trying to remove them, and they came right out! They were a hit!

Broccoli Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2005
I really, really liked this soup. I found it incredibly easy to make, and so tasty. I only changed it a little - I doubled the amount of broccoli (used frozen - tasted great) and used a little more Velvetta (I went with 1 and 1/2 lbs). I also just added a dash of garlic powder instead of the tablespoon listed, and I added julienne carrots for little extra something. It came out wonderfully and I will be making this again and again.
