Classic Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2015
I make these foe special occasions because my husband LOVES them and he thinks they're hard to make...these really are simple and taste EXCELLENT. They way you cook them is key. Experiment what's best for you. We do 8 minutes, 2 minutes in the pan cooling for crispness. Larger cookies make chewier middles.

Habanero Salsa

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2014
I make this once every 6 months or so and freeze it in ice cubes, then transfer to a large gallon zip. I love it and throw in whatever I have and leave out whatever I don't. One hint: the more fresh ingredients you use, the better off you'll be. This stuff rocks in so many dishes! A favorite fast dinner is to throw 5 cubes into about 3 cups of cocked rice, add sliced green olives, a can of rinsed whatever beans we have and sliced up chorizo/or some hot sausage.

I didn't have Asain Garlic Sauce and I made my own. Don't skip the peanuts bc it changes the entire dynamic of the recipe.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2014
Completely incredible!! This soup has so much potential because of it's flavor and it has room to grow. Next time I believe I will add some cut up squash just to increase the vegtable content.

Spicy Indian Chicken and Mango Curry

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2011
Good, but the recipe as it stands isn't great. I added twice the curry past and 1/2 the mango, some tumeric and sea salt. I do recommend adding the rest of the mango in a bowl and letting people add it to their meal. IT'S AWESOME!

DO NOT USE ANYTHING BUT FRESH INGREDIENTS!!! Five stars!! Take it from me - a lifelong guac maker - one way to make this recipe a 3-4 star recipe, use garlic and onion powder. :(

Pina Colada Cake III

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2010
Very good and very easy. If you have it and don't want to use alcohol, use a whole can (14oz) of coconut cream and leave out all the other liquids in the cake mix. No oil needed (plenty of fats in the coconut milk) and no rum or water. GREAT cake this way and the original way too.

2-Step Creamy Chicken and Pasta

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2010
I rated this as is, but with minor modifications, it's great! Add a large handful of crackers (Ritz works best- maybe about 10-12). If you don't use a blend (but use your own pasta and a bagged veggie), add about 1 TBS. onion (powder or dried) and salt and pepper to taste. You can use chicken, turkey or tuna.
