Easy Homemade Pie Crust

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2012
Made 4 pies and loved the easy way to combine the butter and flour in the food processor. Video helped me to know when to quit blending. Rolled out easily and was super easy to work the dough.

Eggless Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: May 13, 2011
Like alot of others I was out of eggs and needed a quick cookie for a 4-H meeting. I used this recipe and was really quite delish. I made half regular and then added some white choc chips to the other half. Both were good and slighly soft in the center. Nice

Made for my husband, he said they were really good, very chocolately and texture was just right. Need to have a glass of milk to make them perfect.

Strawberry Jam

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2010
Made this recipe this morning. Was very easy used a food processor to crush (in several batches). Tasted great going into jars and looks like will setup but even if its syrup that would be ok with us. We use more syrup than Jam anyway.

Strawberry Preserves I

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2010
Made this recipe this morning. Was easy and tasted very good. Not sure if it will set up to jam when cooled looks promising but we love syrup almost more than jam so would be ok anyway.

Banana Streusel Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2010
Easy and excellent, I made as written but changed out 1/2 cup flour for 1/2 cup wheat germ for better nutrition. Muffins were light and had a lovely banana taste. I did use 3 banana's as that is what I had that needed to be used. Grandson loved them and ate 3.

Super easy, and super good. Loved this recipe, why I had not thought to try before I do not know. I for sure will use often and I will never run short of butter again. Looking forward to trying different taste, extra salt, honey, maple syrup. thoughts are endless. Thanks for the recipe.

Potato Salmon Patties

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2010
These were good and my hubby liked them more than I did.Flavor was really good but I found them a tad dry. I used a packet of salmon instead of canned which may account for them being dry. Will try with canned and see how they are then.

Maple Whole Wheat Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2009
I loved this bread, made it with Mrs Butterworths syrup but I do think it would be better with real Maple Syrup. I will up the syrup next time if I don't have the real stuff again. But was wonderful, looks great and taste great.

No Fail Pie Crust I

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2006
While visiting my daughter and family in Misawa Japan, we decided to make an apple pie. They have wonderful apples here, very large and flavorful and crispy. Just right for a really good apple pie. So not having my recipe here I used this one and found it to be easy to make up and roll out. Made plenty for a large 2 crust pie and was very flaky and and tasty. I will make it again when I get home. I was extreemly wet here as we had a typhoon just east of us for 3 days. So it will work in all tempertures and wet conditions.
