Best Steak Marinade in Existence

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2009
Very tasty! My husband would disown me if I marinated a 'good' steak (ribeye, NY strip) so I used a London broil- this was much better than the bottled marinades I have been using. Even my husband thought it was good!

Amazingly Good Eggnog

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2006
Wow - this was fantastic. I a right now making my third batch. The first time I cooked it for a little over three minutes. My husband thought it was too thin, but I loved it. So the next time I cooked for about twelve minutes. Now I think its too thick, but my husband says its perfect. Now I'm trying for a happy medium. By the way, I used 2% milk, fat free half & half and splenda and I leave the rum for each person to add to their own glass. This is way better than store-bought!

French Dip Sandwiches

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2006
French dip is my favorite sandwich and this recipe made probably the best French dip I've ever had. I made it exactly according to the recipe and didn't find it salty at all. And since I'm a rosemary and thyme fanatic, I loved loved the flavor! I'll probably dream about it tonight! I can't wait to sample the leftovers! A definite keeper.

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2006
I have made this several times and everyone loves it! I use a food processer for the fruit which makes it quick and easy - just put the firmest fruit (apples) on the bottom and pulse a few times. This does tend to puree some of the fruit but it solves the problem of having it get runny and having to be drained. I use kitchen shears to cut the tortillas into wedges and bake on a regular cookie sheet. (I tried an insulated cookie sheet and did not have good luck with it) I use this recipe freguently and always get many requests for the recipe.

Pineapple Cheese Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2006
I tried this recipe on a whim and was I ever surprised! Who would have thought that pineapple and cheese go so well together. I make this regularly now, except most times, I reduce the recipe since I'm only feeding two.

Fruit Ball

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2006
This did not go over well at my office pot luck. It was largely ignored and the leftovers were finally thrown away-my family didn't like it either

Roasted Pork Loin

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2006
This was delicious! I roasted some red potatoes (with garlic, rosemary and thyme) in the same pan. The white wine in the sauce was awesome. Great flavor!

Bacon Wrapped Smokies

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2006
I originally made these for a Christmas party. I doubled the recipe since there were supposed to be quite a few people there. Unfortunately, hardly anyone showed up for the party, so the party was a bust, but the five of us that were there gobbled these up. I didn't think it took all that long to wrap the smokies and I used a disposable pan (and no crockpot) to help with cleanup. I have made them several times and they are always delicious!
