I am a medical supply biller. I love to read and cook. Mostly love mysteries & thrillers. But, I am pretty eccletic with my books & music. I love to cook but, not as much as I did when my kids lived at home. So, I want some new good recipes b/c I am going to cook for the ladies @ work. That the whole fun in cooking right. Cooking for others to enjoy.
My favorite things to cook
I love my crockpot. I use it a lot. Southern dishes being from the South. But, I love try to many different things. So, I game for anything.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I miss the Sunday after church meals. When we always got together with my brother & his wife & children. It was just a special time. Food always tasted best on that day.
My cooking triumphs
When I was young my first cake was Red Velvet Cake. My first red velvet cake was great!!! So moist and good I have been a fan of Red Velvet cake since then. I was about 12. But, the second was a different story.
My cooking tragedies
My second red velvet cake well, I was young keep in mind. I wasnt aware I was using a 2 cup measuring cup. Well, my cake was a disaster! But, it never stopped me and I never had that accident again. Ha!!
