Curried Mustard Greens with Kidney Beans

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2011
My family loved this dish (and we don"t normally care for greens)! I did modify it for waht I had on hand. I had greens given to me and I don't know what kinds they were. Also I substituted regular butter for ghee, onion for shallot, and ginger spice for grated fresh ginger. I'm sure it would have been even better if I had the correct ingredients.

Indian Saag

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2011
I made this with some greens we received for free (don"t know what kind they were) and spinach. Also I cooked bite-sized chicken breast pieces in olive oil and Garam Masala ahead of time and added it in the last ten minutes of cooking. Everyone in my family loved this dish! Rarely do six people in our family agree on recipes!

Cabbage Jambalaya

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2010
THis was made for a large group of people and they and my family loved it! We added cajun seasoning to it this time. I am going to also add black beans the next time and see how it turns out.

All of my family loved this one! I only used cream of celery soup instead of cream of mushroom soup.

Tiramisu II

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2010
I adjusted the recipe for 18 servings, doubled the amount of coffee (and brewed it double strength), and instead of rum, I used the same amount of water and 1/4 tsp. imitation rum extract. I made this in a 10" x 13" baking dish. Also, this was prepared a day ahead of time using the hard biscuit type ladyfingers. They were nice and cake-like when I served it. My sister-in-law from Italy and my brother loved it. They thought it was some of the best they had ever had! I will likely make this again.
