Easy Decadent Truffles

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2005
Love these! My whole family loved these! I divided the mixture of cream cheese and chocolate chips, into three dishes. I added vanilla to one, mint to one, and almond extract to the last. Then I rolled them in different coatings, as suggested. Coconut on the almond was my husbands favorite. I love chopped nuts on the almond and vanilla. Did the mint flavored just in confectioners sugar. All were good. Will make again!!

Blackberry Cobbler

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2008
This is the best, and easiest cobbler I have made. I have tried many different recipes, and they never quite made a hit. This one really did. It has just the right balance of tart and sweet. I am so glad I tried it!

Very Easy Shrimp Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2009
The idea is wonderful. I just didn't have enough cream cheese. We had only 2/3's of a block left after having bagels. I used what I had, and added some sour cream to make it stretch. Got a little runny with the sour cream. I discovered it is really good as a spread on rye toast. Thanks!

White Bean Dip with Pine Nuts

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2009
We are garlic wimps! The two cloves that I put into the dip, were over-whelming. I had to do something to mellow it out. I baked the dip in the oven for about 45 minutes. It helped some. Then I added some parmesan cheese to it. We ate it all! My husband complained about the garlic burping back on him, but I was fine. Love how easy it was to make, though. Maybe garlic wimps like us, need to just use garlic salt instead?? Thanks.

Orange Rice

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2005
The ingredients of this recipe sounded so good, I had to try it. Unfortunately, both my husband and I have problems with orange juice souring on our stomachs. This did, too. It was very tasty, and I love mandarins. It's just that darn old orange juice! I might try it without the orange juice, and just adding the mandarins and some almonds. For those of you that can handle the juice, go for it!
