About this Cook
I am a SAHM to 2 daughters (16 & 14) and 1 son (4). Wife to my terrific husband of 5 years.
My favorite things to cook
Anything with carbs in it!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Sunday breakfast. We try and sit down every night as a family, but sometimes weeks can get hectic and we may only eat together once. After church, we get everyone together for pancake breakfast, the kids really look forward to it!
My cooking triumphs
Prime rib, tasty egg rolls, and cha shu bau.
My cooking tragedies
When I turned on the wrong burner and melted the plastic cutting board instead of heating up the soup!

Blender Hollandaise Sauce
I don't know why I always bought those dehydrated packages of sauce. This was SO easy and delish! Thank you!!

New England Clam Chowder I
I really had to doctor this one up to make it the way I like it. Used 2 6.5oz cans clams. Added first one including all the juice. Drained juice from the second can and added about a 1/4c flour and used it to thicken with. Still wasn't thick enough so I used the potato masher to break up some of the potatoes. Tastes pretty good but definitely not a 5 star the way the recipe is written.

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits
Yummo! Thank you for this recipe! Everyone in the family enjoyed. I'll probably double the batch next time, they were so good. The little one loved using the cookie cutter to cut different shapes. I've never had a christmas tree biscuit before! Will definately make these again.
