White Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2008
I made these cookies twice. My grown son demands them and doesn't want to share them with his wife. I did follow some of the other reviews and cut down on the butter. Great cookies.

Strawberry Shortcake

I made this this weekend and they came out great. I took some of the suggestions and substituted butter for shortening and decreased the sugar to 1/4 cup and the baking powder to 2 tspns. It was delicious.

Made these for my family and was asked to make again. They don't stay long. Made again for our church Sunday morning cafe. They sold so fast. Great recipes. Thanks for sharing.

Wonderful Short Ribs

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2009
This is a keeper. I browned the ribs and sauted the garlic and onions, then put everything in the crock pot on low of 8 hours. The meat was falling off the bones. Delish!

Classic Bran Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2011
Made this week-end for a brunch. Added fresh blueberries and some fresh cranberries I had stored in the freezer. The muffins were moist and very tasty. It was requested by my brother to make again. I enjoyed them so much that I made more and put them in the freezer. I warm one every morning for breakfast. Great, easy recipe.

Pumpkin Cheesecake in a Gingersnap Crust

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2011
Made this for Christmas dinner at my son's home. It was delicious and it all went. I received rave reviews. It was easy to make and I baked it in a water bath. The only problem was the Ginger Snaps. They were so fresh that they were hard. I tried the food processor for crushing, this did not work. I had to resort to placing them in a kitchen towel and using a hammer to crush them. Otherwise, the recipe was great! Thanks Shelley for a great recipe.
