This was really good. I halved the recipe, as others suggested. My entire family liked this. Thanks!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2012
These are incredible. Everyone loved them. The only change I made, was I added about 1/2 tbsp of milk to the frosting. I found that it was too thick, not turning into frosting. The milk made it just right. 2nd time making these now in 3 days....I didn't have room temperature eggs, so I zapped them in the microwave for 20 seconds, still in the shell. Worked like a charm!

Lentils and Rice with Fried Onions (Mujadarrah)

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2012
We really liked this, but agree with some others that it was pretty plain. We added a little bit of lowries seasoning at the end, which really helped. Don't skimp on the onions...they are the best part!

Juicy Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2010
In the cavety I put 3 celery stalks (chopped), bay leaf, garlic cloves, butter, celery seed & onion powder. I pulled back the skin from the breast and added butter, and sprinkled the seasonings. I also spread the skin with margarine and the seasoning. Very good! And a beautiful presentation.

Honey Baked Chicken II

Reviewed: May 25, 2010
This was so amazing! While it was baking my husband and I kept sneaking peaks because it smelled so delicious. Didn't make any changes, only additions. I cut up organic carrots, onion & rutebega, and placed on bottom of roasting dish. Placed chicken pieces on top of vegetables, and poured sauce over chicken. I served this with steamed rice. It was absolutely one of the best chicken & roasted veggie dishes I have ever had. Thanks!

Jambalaya With Shrimp

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2009
This was fabulous, and so easy! I made a few changes - instead of chicken, I used spicy smoked sausage and shrimp. I wanted some heat, so I added about 1 1/2 tbsp creole seasoning and 2 tsp siracha. It was delish! Oh and instead of green peppers I used celery. The hubs loved it!

Pork Chops with Fresh Tomato, Onion, Garlic, and Feta

This dish was fabulous! I used fresh basil, and I only had red cherry tomatoes. Other then that I followed the directions to a T. These were just great!

Tangy Honey Glazed Ham

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2007
This was the best ham I have ever had. I made it for a Christmas party, and everyone raved about it. I didn't have an orange, so I used orange juice like several other reviewers. I also don't use exact measurments, I just eye-balled them. I'm going to make this again in a week for Christmas dinner. Thanks!

Easy Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2006
This was great! My first time making hummus, and it was so easy. I roasted the red pepper under the broiler for about 15 minutes. I was short lemon juice, so if I added more of that I'm sure it would have been better. Next I think I'm going to try making black olive hummus...

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2006
This was the best! I have never made chicken pot pie before, but have always wanted to. I always assumed that it would be difficult. It really wasn't. My boyfriend helped me out by doing a lot of the chopping, and it went by really fast. Here are the only changes that I made: 1) I boiled the veggies in chicken stock. 2) I sauteed garlic, onion, cubed chicken, and crushed red pepper in 1/4 cup of butter. I added flour and milk, then the chicken stock that was used to boil the vegetables. All of the other steps were the same. I only meant to add a little crushed red pepper, because we like things a bit spicy, but the lid came off and a ton poured out. It was quite a bit spicier than we intended, but it was still so great. The best one ever! Thanks Roberta....
