Chocolate Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2012
This recipe is just so delicious. I used at least 3/4 of an 8 0z. cream cheese package, left out the cinnamon and only used 3 cups of confectioner's sugar. I took the advice of other reviews w/the confectioner's sugar and it worked out perfectly. I only used two tablespoons of milk because I was going to pipe my frosting on some cupcakes. If you add all the milk you might end up w/some "runny or too soft" frosting. I also took some good advice/tips from naples34102 and everything worked out well. Thank you too, naples34102 for your tips!! I made cupcakes yesterday for my son who today turned 5 and he said to me "mommy, this is the best chocolate frosting ever"! Even he gave it 5 stars. Thank, you Carol for sharing this awesome recipe!

Super Moist Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2011
If you are looking a moist pumpkin bread recipe, this is NOT it. I Made this yesterday and I especially made it because of the title of the recipe...super moist pumpkin bread. I'm still trying to find what part of the loaf is moist. Followed the recipe to a T...I wasted my money here on this recipe. Had to give it the one star...had no choice.

Tangerine Orange Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2011
I tried this recipe on 02/14/11 and it was fantastic! My cupcakes were so moist and even better the next day. My 3.5 year old son would eat 2 cupcakes at at a time; I had to put the cupcakes out of his reach. He absolutely loved them! And the glaze was okay, I totally understood that it's a glaze not a frosting. Leslie, thanks for sharing your delicious recipe!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2011
This recipe had to be THE BEST rolled sugar cookies recipe I have ever tried. Even the kids noticed the difference... they told me that these are the best cookies ever!! I wish I has a dollar for every party that someone say "these cookies are so good, who make these?" And of course once they find out who made the cookies they then ask for the recipe. This is my GO TO sugar cookie recipe at least for more than 4 years now. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Jill Saunders for sharing your AWESOME recipe!

Filled Apricot Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2010
Thank you, thank you, thank you J. Wagner for this AWESOME recipe! I don't know why others had so much difficulty or dislikes in the "taste" of this cookie. I follow the directions as is and w/no addition of sugar to the dough...and they are the BEST I have tasted to date. This cookie makes it to my Christmas Cookie Bake- Off every year without fail. I mail my homemade cookies to my sisters who are out of state; and this is one cookie they always request. The only suggestion I would add is that you really need to make sure the dough is totally chilled before you start to roll the dough in your hands, otherwise the butter in the the dough just melts away in your hands. And that should do the trick! Once again, I couldn't tell you what a delicious and tasty cookie this recipe makes. Wish I could give it 10 stars...Thank you J. Wagner!!!

Greek Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2010
I made these cookies today...they tasted totally delicious and may be the best butter cookie I've tasted yet. Although, I made minor changes to this recipe, I still gave it 5 stars because of the taste - they taste delicious (as my 3 year old son put it). After reading through some of the other comments & suggestions for this recipe, I added an additional 1 1/2 tablespoons each of vanilla & almond extract, and added ground pecans (as much or as little as you prefer). With that said this is a staple in my kitchen. One thing I must mention is that even with refrigerating the dough for 1 hour; the dough was still too soft to form the S. I then put the dough in my cookie press and they came out wonderful w/ lowering the oven temperature to 350 @ 8 mins. Godgifu - thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe!

London Broil I

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2010
Thank you Char for sharing your lovely recipe for London Broil. But, I also have to thank TCCBABY for sharing her version of this recipe too. With the addition of 1/4 worcestshire sauce, 1 more garlic clove & only using 1/4 cup of soy sauce. The sauce was to die for (I must mention that I did not omit the ketchup & oregano) my husband loved, loved, loved the sauce. Thanks ladies for sharing and it made my day to see how much my husband enjoyed his dinner!!

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2008
OMG...this trifle cake is to die for!! This is the best Trifle Cake I have ever had. Thank you Darcey55 for sharing your awesome recipe; anymore recipes you would like to share? At every gathering or holiday party I am always asked "are you bringing that trifle cake?". People always rave about how much they they loved the my (really yours) trifle cake and how they want the recipe. The only addition/change I make is that I add mini chocolate chips in between the layers. I wish I could give this recipe more than the 5 stars...this is to die for! I also print out copies of the recipe because someone always requests it. Thank you!!

Mrs. Ronzo's Lemon Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2005
These cookies right here are the best!! My boss had given me her mother-in-laws recipe, and I lost it. I followed the recipe with just a slight change. I added 3 to 4 extra teaspoons of lemon extract to the dough & to the icing as well - that's if your a lemon lover as we are. This recipe is AWESOME! (Allrecipes should extend the stars on the reviews of recipes, because I would definitely give this recipe 10 stars!! TIP: You should chill the dough for 20 - 30 mins, it makes it easier to work with when you are rolling your balls & I also use a very small ice cream scooper. I'm so glad I found this recipe. Thanks Patti for sharing your recipe and thanks allrecipes for a wonderful site to be used by millions of food lovers!
