Chile Rellenos

YUM! I found this recipe easy to follow and to have success with. I used my own fresh peppers and served them with enchillada sauce. THIS is what a chile relano should be!

Amish Potato Salad

This is one potato salad that definately gets better with age. I used yellow potatoes which made it very buttery. It yeilds a lot, so you may want to reduce the amount of servings if you do not have big crowd and a week of lunches to pack.

Chicken Stock Gumbo

This is a very rich, bit labor intensive, very delicious gumbo. The base (or rou) makes this dish special. I have also added summer squash and zucchini to make this a yummy summer garden potash.

Flourless Chocolate Cake I

This cake was a hit for a birthday party! It is so rich that a little goes a long way. Great with a fresh cup of coffee. The first time I made it I found the recipe the day I needed it. So, it did not chill as long as recomended. It wasn't set quite as well, but it worked fine. No one cared because it was so delish!

Best Ever Meatloaf I

This really is the best ever meatloaf! Instead of salt, I add Bragg liquid amminos, which is sort of like soy sauce only NOT fermented. This great served with salad, bread and veggies!! ALL QUICK to do while it bakes!

Chocolate Buttercream

If you are looking for the "just like store bought" frosting, this is it. It spreads beautifully! It is too bad that the raw egg is in it, though, this means you have to use it and eat quickly AND keep it cool.
