About this Cook
I am 21, have a son, and am married to the greatest guy. Grew up in TN with lots of family. Currently living in AR.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook just about anything and everything.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My favorite family cooking traditions would have to be the family get togethers where everyone brings something. My dad always brings a ham and his potato salad. My aunt Teresa her jalepeno cornbread. So on and so forth.
My cooking triumphs
My cooking triumphs would have to be my swiss steak that my husband absolutely loves. And my mustard-garlic pork chops.
My cooking tragedies
I once tried to bake a low carb sponge cake ou t of the Mr. Phil recipe book. It called for a lot of egg whites. Well when it was done it tasted so much like eggs that I told my mother-in-law that we should cook bacon with it. We just decided to throw it away so she threw it outside for the birds and squirrels. They didn't touch it. It wouldn't dissolve or break down or anything. We started joking about making a new type of insulation with it. All in all I can honestly say I will never try that recipe again.

Cajun Chicken Pasta
This is now officially one of my favorite dinners to prepare. My husband adores it and my 2 yr. old does too. I comploetely pig out when I cook this. It goes well with penne pasta also.

Smothered Pork Chops
My husband wanted me to try something new with pork chops and I found this recipe, it was great. My 2 year old couldn't get enough of the gravy. I made mashed potatoes as a side but I would say it would go great with rice also.

Artichoke Spinach Dip
This recipe tastes just like the dip in restaraunts that you pay a fortune to eat. I definitely suggest you use it at parties and family get-togethers.
