I just made this for the second time tonight. Going on instinct, I made some changes. I only have a round crock, so I used two (but large) chicken breasts. I think they totaled 1.5 lbs. I halved the rest of the ingredients, except the onion. I used heart smart cream of chicken soup, two large, chopped carrots, two chopped celery stalks, a generous tablespoon of Italian seasoning, and about a tsp. of garlic powder...salt and pepper to taste (add at the end). It really NEEDS this extra seasoning. I tear of the bictuits and add to the pot and let cook another 1 or 1.5 hours. (PS I'm doing all this on low). I noticed the biscuits blob together over the top, but I just take scissors and snip them apart. I really like the comforting taste of this dish. It's even better the next day.
