Pizza Dough I

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2012
Excellent recipe! We LOVED it! I used spelt flour and honey instead of sugar, and it was perfect. It made a nice, thick, tender crust. We'll be using this recipe from now on!

Breakfast Pizza

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2011
My family enjoyed this recipe a lot! I doubled the hashbrowns but followed the recipe exactly other than that. The one thing that I didn't like was the thinness of the crust. Because it was so thin, it ended up being super crunchy and overcrisp and dark brown, and I baked it at the minimum amount of baking. Next time, I may add another half container of crescent rolls to the crush.

White Chocolate Cranberry Granola Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2011
Great basic recipe. I used all oats instead of the rice cereal. I also used semi-sweet chips & pecans. I was out of honey & used equal parts brown sugar & pure maple syrup. Also added 2 T flax seed. They turned out perfectly.

Pumpkin Waffles with Apple-Cranberry Relish

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2011
This waffle recipe was delicious! I skipped the fruit topping, but the waffles themselves were fantastic. Our grocery was out of pumpkin puree, so I had to use pie filling and just reduced the sugar and spice measurements to half. I also didn't have pastry flour, so I used 1/2 whole wheat and 1/2 bread flour. Next time, I plan to reduce the oil to 1/3 C and increase the pumpkin puree to 2/3 C to reduce calories. Also, the servings on this are not accurate. I made 7 large waffles.

Baked Ziti Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2010
Delicious! I made it exactly as written but used my own, homemade sauce made with my own garden veggies and herbs, so there was plenty of flavor. I used a little extra sauce as some others suggested.

Buttermilk Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2010
These turned out perfectly. I followed the recipe as written but added an extra half cup of flour. I used my Kitchenaid to do the mixing and kneading. It worked perfectly. These were easy to roll and cut. I let them rise and then refrigerated them to bake first thing on Christmas morning and then smeared some homemade cream cheese frosting on top. Perfect!

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2010
This frosting is amazing! I used it on homemade cinnamon rolls, but it would be perfect on a carrot cake or spice cake.

Rach's Broccoli Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2010
I made this recipe but realized at the last minute that I was out of broccoli. I steamed a head of cauliflower instead, and I was thrilled with the result! I'll use the recipe for either broccoli or cauliflower in the future!

Restaurant-Style Zuppa Toscana

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2010
This was a great outline for a recipe. I wanted to make it more authentic and lower in calories. I used turkey Italian sausage and half and half instead of heavy cream. It was perfect and tasted almost exactly like Olive Garden's Zuppa Toscana! My whole family enjoyed it, and it had only 241 calories per serving rather than 380 as listed!

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2010
I've made this recipe twice, and I thought I lost it and panicked! I'll be making it again tomorrow. When I make it, I use brown instead of white sugar, and I only use 1/2 a cup as well. I found that only 1/4 C of water was necessary too, as others have said. I also doubled the topping. The first time I made it, I at first made a single batch of the topping and then mixed another before sliding it into the oven because it was clearly not enough for my personal preference. I topped this with a small amount of fresh whipped cream for a perfect dessert!

Cinnamon Apple Pancakes

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2010
These are delicious, filling and so healthy that I felt great serving them to my husband and kids! I agree with fellow reviewers that they are not a sweet pancake. I served them with warm maple syrup, but I may use warm apple butter next time. I also plan to add a little vanilla extract to the batter next time to give them just a little extra layer of flavor. YUM!

This was my first time making quiche, and this recipe was ideal. I did as other reviewers suggested and reduced the amount of milk to 1 1/2 C. The quiche turned out perfectly.

Chocolate Walnut Strudel

This turned out as it says it will. It was well received by my husband and daughter, but my son and I didn't care for it. It is extremely fudgy, and you almost can't taste the dough at all.
