Soft Garlic Parmesan Breadsticks

Batter Buns

I have been making these since I was 10 years old in 4-H (nearly 50 years now). They are blue ribbon buns for sure. Light, fluffy and so easy.

Shredded Beef

Excellent. I had a larger roast so I used the recalculate feature and the seasonings were just right. I mixed all the seasonings together in the water and then poured it over the roast. Cooked it all day. Definitely a keeper. Next time I will use an even larger roast and freeze some.

Slow-Cooker Barbecue Ribs

I have made these ribs twice now. Once with the recipe for the sauce and once just using hickory smoked barbecue sauce out of the bottle. Both were awesome. It's really important to put them in the oven for that short period of time. I cut two large racks in half this time for company and the only thing left was a pile of bones. Really great recipe.

Key West Chicken

We call this Manti Pageant Chicken because every year it is served at a outdoor play in Manti, Utah. Have been making this marinade for years and it's always a hit. I haven't ever changed the recipe as we think it is perfect just the way it is. Also excellent with turkey cutlets.

Honey Wheat Breadsticks

The best honey wheat breadsticks I have ever made. Seriously. Easy, quick and delicious. I added a tablespoon of minced garlic to the dough as it was mixing and it was the perfect combination to go with our soup. Thanks Ted, for this delicious recipe. Instead of rolling them into sticks, I just rolled the dough out onto a cookie sheet and sliced them with a knife. Let them raise and popped them in the oven. They pulled apart beautifully and made this an even easier recipe to use.

Classic Goulash

I lost my original goulash recipe years ago and when I saw this it looked like the one I had used when our kids were young. This is delicious. I made it exactly as written but added a tablespoon of Slap Your Mama seasoning to spice it up a bit. Dinner tonight is going to be a real treat!

Awesome! These are the best beans we have had in a long time and very easy to make. I stirred a little white flour in some water and added it to thicken them a bit and they were perfect.

Sausage Casserole

One of the easiest and best recipes of this type that we have ever had. I had just a couple of bacon slices left over from breakfast so included them as well and this was delicious. No leftovers tonight!

Pig Picking Cake III

This has been a family favorite for years. I usually bake it in a 9x13" pan for about 35 minutes instead of as layers. I also don't put in the nuts or coconut. I just don't think it needs it. You'd think this would be a really rich dessert but with the tarter fruits it's so refreshing. I have also used low fat/non-fat/lite ingredients and it didn't change a thing as far as taste or appearance.

Chinese Chicken Soup

We tried this for dinner last night. It was VERY good and we will definitely be having this again. I only used 2 tsp of Thai chile paste and that was plenty spicy for us so I'd suggest adding to taste. If you don't have chicken on hand I think it could easily be left out and not affect the taste at all. This is very flavorful. I'm headed to the kitchen to have leftovers for lunch.
