About this Cook
I'm nearing 30 and have only really started to like cooking in the last few years. I absolutely hated it growing up so didn't learn anything from my mother. I'm now trying to play catch-up. I have 3 kids (including my husband)which are very picky eaters, so I don't get to experiment much (probably a good thing)!
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook casseroles. They are easy because everything cooks at once and you still get a variety of foods in one meal.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Since cooking was grueling to me growing up, I've blocked out all cooking memories and of course didn't pick up any traditions!
My cooking triumphs
Nothing I would consider a triump...yet.
My cooking tragedies
I tried to make chocolate chip cookies from an incredible recipe. The recipe said to mix the ingredients in two separate bowls and I forgot to mix the two together. It turned into a big sloppy mess.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie
These are by far the best chocolate chip cookies I have ever made. Next time I will use the ghiradelli chips and they will taste gourmet!
