Fish Tacos

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2008
It was very delicious, there were a few things I had to leave out because I didnt have them on hand and I grabbed this receipe at the last minute. The white sauce was sooo good, i had also baked zesty potato cubes, and ended up topping them with the white sauce. . .mmmm mouth watering now thinking of it. I didnt have any jalapeno, and i used flour tortias because my children are not wild about corn, I also subsituted shredded lettuce for the cabbage, and frozen fish to help shrink the work, and it was still very good. I plan on trying this with grilling my fish next time. I only gave it four because i wish there was a healthier way to make this delicious meal!!!!! I would say it was a bit spicy for me, but I like everything mild so. . . to each their own!

Chocolate Covered Caramels

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2006
These were fairly easy to make, for those of you who havent made candies, it might be easier to go to the store and get a couple dollar candy thermometer. I would suggest while dipping the carmels that you keep that which is not being dipped right away in the fride. I cut the carmels in strips and refriderated the rest, and they turned out great definately easy, just a bit time consuming. Thanks for the great recipe

It was my first time making dirtcake, though i had it many years back when i was a kid, Maybe it was me, but the gummy worms flavored the dirt cake and made it kind of funny tasting, only suggestion, dont use the worms! Other wise good, and makes A LOT!!!!!

Easy Lasagna II

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2006
This recipe was a fantastic starting point! My husband as of late has been a very picky eater had two servings!!! When browning the ground beef I added some lawrys seasoning salt, freash onion, 2 freash chopped cloves of garlic, some parsley, oregano, garlic powder, and some italian seasonsing, then with making the sauce, I added minced seasoned tomatoes, seasoned with garlic and oregano. I drained most of the juices from it, not all, I added the sauce, and added about a quarter cup of water to it. Then for the cheese mixture I changed out the cottage cheese for riccotta cheese, and since I am a cheese freak I added a bit extra for good measure. It turned out fabulous! I didn't know that you didnt have to cook the noodles, and I was a bit skeptic, but Thank you so much for showing me the way it should be done. Oh and with other comments to it being soupy, i still added a bout a quarter of a cup of water to the edges of it, but for the last 10 minutes while it was covered i turned the heat up to 400 degrees, and then when i took the foil off, i only put it in for ten minutes at 375, just to be safe. I served immediately and it was great. I am so thankful for this recipe, it was a wonderful romantic dinner!!!!Thanks!

Parmesan Chicken II

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2005
I totally loved this. I have an amazing chicken parmesan recipe, but was looking for something easier, i add a few of my own seasonings, and pealed off the skin of the chicken, and I was making it for dinner, but they were so good my 3 year old and i ate all 7 legs. So good job this reciepe was great, and would be good on pork too. MMMMM. Thanks Athena
