About this Cook
I live in the bootheel of Missouri and we like southern foods down here. I love cooking and photography. I am always looking for new recipes to sneak in on my family. My husband is my guinea pig!
My favorite things to cook
Mexican dishes& seafood
My cooking triumphs
I can do almost anything with any veggie you give me!
My cooking tragedies
I have yet to find and make good chili. I love chili but I am VERY picky about what goes into it. My mother in law makes the best chili in the world but she has a dump recipe and eyeballs it so I never recreate it right.

Fried Cauliflower
I love fried cauliflower, it is my favorite thing my mother in law makes. This recipe is bland and lacking!

Bob's Stuffed Mushrooms
The mushrooms are fantastic! I did add a little white wine and butter to the bottom of the pan to make a nice little dipping sauce. I made these for a family gathering I made two huge casseroles full! No leftovers at all!

Mom's Cheesecake
I had no problems making this, it has become my holiday dish. I make it the night before and chill in the fridge, then top it with caramel sauce and pecans. It is a big hit! UPDATE: I cut the amount of sugar down to only one cup and it was fantastic! A little tangy and tart!
