Pork Chops in Mushroom Gravy

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2013
My husband and I both have high blood pressure so I also substituted garlic powder for garlic salt trying to cut the high sodium content of this dish. It was easy and came out exactly like I wanted it. I made mashed potatoes for the gravy and as some other reviewers posted I doubled my gravy. It was fantastic! The pork chops came out so tender you could cut them with a fork. Will definitely make again!

Slow Cooker London Broil

Reviewed: May 1, 2011
I usually just mix a family size can of cream of mushroom soup with a small can of campbell's french onion soup together and pour over my roast/ london broil in the crock pot.I saw this recipe and decided to try it for a little something different. It was good . The meat was moist , tender , and falling apart. The gravy was good on mashed potatoes but I think I will return to the canned french onion soup with the cream of mushroom soup. It has a richer flavor than this sauce. It's still good.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2011
This sauce is great. I am going to try it with meatballs next time but I think it would be good on anything that you can put barbecue sauce on. My whole family loved it and I can't remember the last meal I cooked that at least one person in my family didn't complain about. I will definitely be saving this recipe .

Slow Cooker Cranberry Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2010
This was very easy. Just open a box and a can and toss 3 ingredients into a pan. I was surprised at the flavor. I didn't taste onion or cranberry. It blended together to give a nice flavored gravy. I love crock pot cooking for the one pot clean up and ease , plus you can cook a meal that takes more than 30 minutes after a long day of work without putting in the long hours of cooking. I don't have very many crock pot recipes yet though and this one will definitely be a regular recipe for my family.

Brian's Easy Stuffed Flounder

Reviewed: May 28, 2010
For someone who really doesn't like fish at all I thought this was pretty good. My husband who likes fish thought it was great. I didn't use the shrimp juice though as i didn't want it to taste anymore "fishy" than it had too. The stuffing was the best part but also went well with the fish .

London Broil for the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: May 3, 2010
Very good. I normally just put the london broil in the crock pot and pour a can of cream of mushroom soup and an can of french onion soup in it. Thats good too but I like this recipe much better. The spices really give it a little something different. Very good and simple!

Southern Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2010
I actually followed some of the advice here and added 2tsp cinnamon and 2 tsp vanilla to the crust. I also halved the white sugar and added the other half brown sugar. This is a great recipe. I will definitely make this again. So far the best peach cobbler recipe I have found.

Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2010
I make homemade mashed potatoes on a weekly basis if not more often. I usually just use salt , pepper , butter, and milk. I wanted to spice it up a bit and do something different. This recipe was so so easy to make. I sauteed the garlic in olive oil on my stove top since I only had minced garlic. The potatoes were very good but not a drastic change from regular mashed potatoes which was exactly what i was looking for. I would definitely make these again. I think I will experiment with some different shredded cheeses and maybe even some cream cheese also. This recipe is so easy to add too .

Honey-Garlic Glazed Meatballs

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2010
This was a great recipe . Much better than store bought meatballs. The only change I made was I cut the amount of salt I added down to half that. It was still salty from the soy sauce so next time I will use even less. Great recipe!

Italian Wedding Cookies III

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2010
My daughter and I cooked these together. We followed the recipe exactly. The recipe is very simple and an easy thing to cook with the kids. It had too much of a vanilla taste to me. Next time I would cut it down to maybe 3 Tsp Vanilla Extract. It was very cake like to me and not like the Wedding Cookies I am use too.I think I'll keep searching for the right Wedding Cookie recipe.

Shepherd's Pie VI

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2010
I made this without the onions or ketchup. I added some frozen peas and carrots as some of the previous posters suggested. I also added a little canned corn and a little bit of garlic powder to the ground beef. It turned out fabulously!!!! Very feeling. Comfort food.

I baked these cookies with my 12 year old son for a school project . They were really easy to make and tasted really good. I think I will try the butter flavored shortening next time as other reviews have stated. Will definitely make these again.

I didn't have bread crumbs so I used extra seasonings , more garlic powder, seasoning salt, poultry seasoning , pepper. They were very good. I also made a honey mustard dipping sauce to go with them.

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2006
This recipe isn't bad but isn't the best I've ever tasted , not even close. The dough was very heavy and hard to work with . I took note that some previous reviewers said it needed more sugar so I put 1 cup sugar per loaf. I doubled the recipe to make 2 loafs. Its ok but still not sweet enough . I will be trying other recipes to find the perfect banana bread recipe.I would not make this again.
