Chocolate Mint Candies Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2011
These cookies are now my favorite cookie! I've made them twice now, first time with the Semisweet Chocolate Chips, second time with Milk Chocolate chips.. I made them for my husbands work place and they were a HUGE hit. Everyone is convinced I'm a professional baker (Haha yea right!)

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2011
I did this in a 8x8 Pan, It took about 4 apples. I stuck with the same measurements for the top layer because I like a thicker top for my apple crisp, It turned out to be the perfect amount.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies III

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2011
This was really good! Although I thought the sandwich cookie was a bit too much! My husband and I enjoyed the cookies just as they are out of the oven, there was no need to do anything else to them.

Super-Delicious Zuppa Toscana

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2011
I love Zuppa Toscana and was happy to find a recipe. Like reviewers said, I used Kalp instead of spinach, I tore of the edges and put it in the last 10 minutes of simmering. Also I used spicy sausage. 1lb is wayyy too much sausage, next time i will only use 1/2 lb. 6 potatoes are way too much too. I only used 3 large ones and it still seemed like the soup was more of a stew. For good flavor put the sausage in the soup at the beginning instead of the end. Overall doing these things I got rave reviews for my dinner guests and I personally thought it tasted better than the restaurant style. 5 stars!!

Birthday Bones

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2010
This was really easy to make! But I have to agree with others when they say its bland. My dog doesn't usually like dog biscuits but he LOVES peanut butter, so I thought I would give it a try. He ate it slow but liked it. Dog rating i would say 3 stars. I did not use milk because its bad for dogs. Instead I used 1/2 cup water 1/2 beef broth. Next time I'm going to use just beef broth. I also put in 1 table spoon of molasses. I used Adams Chunky natural peanut butter. Gave it a little extra texture.

Chocolate Fudge Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2009
I'm giving this 4 1/2 stars because it was slightly too sweet. I will add less sugar next time. The frosting came out perfect, I added heavy cream instead of milk and I let the frosting sit in the fridge for about 20min before frosting my cupcakes. I'll never buy store brand again. thanks for the great recipe.

White Bean Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2009
Oh sweet heavenly chicken chili. This was DELICIOUS!! I love the fact that you don't need to make it in the crock pot. The only things I did different from the recipe was I used Salsa Verde (Like all reviews suggest) That really made it taste awesome. I did two cans of beans to make it a bit more hearty (Doing that I don't think you would need to make it thicker with cornstarch.) And I also did a can of corn. The best part is that it all cost under $20.00! And I used organic onions and peppers. I suggest to eat with tortilla chips, Garnish with lime and cilantro.

Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2009
These were pretty good. I made them for Easter. I would say the salt was fine in it although I added a bit more mustard to give it more zing. At first I wasn't sure about the sugar but in the end I liked it. I did like one viewer suggested and I brought the eggs to boil (with a little oil in it) and then let them sit for 15min with the lid on. Then placed them in Ice water. The shell came off smoothly and the yolks had a nice yellow to them. I mixed the ingredients in a zip lock bag and piped them onto the eggs. Worked great. Thanks for the great recipe!

Garlic Top Sirloin Pot Roast

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2007
This was the best pot roast ive ever had. I used a chuck roast instead of top sirloin, Sirloin was too expensive for our budget. But It turned out very flavor full. Not dry at all. Next time i will try with beer instead of water like some others suggested. My husband was in aww after we were done eating it too!

Last Minute Chicken Dinner

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2005
This was terrific!!! I read the reveiws before I made this. Most people said to try with Rice or Eggnoodles instead of potatos. I used eggnoodles, and I used garlic salt instead of powder and I had No carrots. took about 30minutes. My boyfriend even loved it and hes a picky eater too ! ^____^ tasty!
