Christmas Punch

None of my guests liked this punch, even after I added Sprite, grenadine, anything I could think of to take out the bitterness. I like adult tasting punches but this was way too strong and I even cut back on the rum. Even after adding Sprite, I found that it tasted like the rinds of the fruit and the bitterness of the carbonated water did not help the situation. Like the previous reviewer says, if you add a ton of fruity sweet additions you may be able to choke it down. I would not make this again or even try to alter it. Big disappointment!

Marbled Pumpkin Cheesecake

Everyone loved this cheesecake. Very creamy, not too much pumpkin--delicious. Mine was done around 45 minutes. Every oven is different & 55 minutes is only a rough guideline. Start checking at 30 minutes. The cheesecake is done when the center is set as stated in the recipe. A waterbath is not needed. The gingersnap crust was very tasty and the cheesecake was not too thin. If you run a knife along the rim as soon as it comes out of the oven, you will have minimal to no cracking. If you follow the recipe correctly, you will have a perfect cheesecake. Thanks for this keeper!!

Garden Veggie Pizza Squares

In response to Pacific_15's prior review: I use 2 pkgs crescent rolls(fitted in a standard 18"x 13" cookiesheet)baked etc. Beat 16 ounces cream cheese,1 cup mayo,1 pkg ranch dressing mix.This ratio is "perfect" & the mayo is the key. I make mine with finely chopped carrots,broccoli, and cauliflower only-delicious.Let these get really cold in fridge before eating.I think they taste better the next day, if there's any left. Hope this helps!

I Love My Pear Salad
