Baked Potato Salad I

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2006
this was the first allrecipes recipe I tried and it had me hooked! I've tried very low fat versions and the completely sinful ones of this recipe with great results everytime! Being a herb-lover, I add a nice bit of chopped green herbs to the mix which infuse alot of flavor into the potatoes while baking... I don't eat pork and tried different kinds of meat as the topping... this recipe's a really good base to work with.. thanks!

London Broil II

well... I was pretty excited after reading the reviews but made the mistake of not taking everyone's advice on adding meat tenderizer... the meat was so tough it took an hour to become tender! so much for the grill :-) the marinade came out tasting good though.. pretty steak-saucish.. but this recipe *definitely* has the tenderizer missing!

Grandma Ople's Apple Pie

thanks for this wonderful recipe! I think the key here is the sugar and butter mixture... it makes the filling really nice and gooey... I tried using the liquid for a walnut pie and it turned out great!

Granola Bars III

thankyou for this awesome recipe! they make the whole house smell divine while they're in teh oven. It's also a really forgiving recipe... I've tried many different versions since the original and each one's come out great... all of my friends love em... perfect snack before my work out... I've tried apple and cinnamon (use 2tsp cinnamon instead of 1/2 with minced canned apples), maple and walnut and chocolate versions.. have fun making em!

Onion Bread II

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2006
I'm not much of a breadmaker and I'd pretty much told my family this one was going to be a disaster but I was in for a surprise! this recipe's wonderful! so nice and chewy with a wonderful aroma... my family gobbled it down in less than an hour! thanks Claudia! I didn't have 'bread flour' on me so I substituted 1tbsp of cornflour for 1tbsp of all-purpose flour/cup of all-purpose flour... it worked just great! I also used olive oil instead of shortening and butter for a healthier bite! it's a keeper.
