Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2014
I'm going on my 4th time making this pie, I won't bother with other recipes. I usually make a crumble top rather than lattice. So yummy and everyone loves it!

Lighter Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2011
Really good! A little chewy but that is to be expected with no oils. Great flavor! I took the below advice and added applesauce, cinnamon, vanilla and an extra banana. I sprayed the paper liners with pam so they didn't stick, and filled them to the top. Baked for 23 mins and Ended up with 11 perfectly risen muffins, yum!

Happy Birthday Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2010
Cake turned out perfect, dense and delicious! Followed the recipe exactly, however I did have to bake a 9x13 pan for almost 50 minutes before it was done, I think the smaller pans would cook faster.

Cranberry Orange Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2010
Absolutely delicious! Highly recommended!! I did use 3 cups flour as reviewers had recommended below, and I used 1 cup dried cranberries (craisins) that I chopped up a bit more instead of fresh which probably makes a sweeter cookie. They were done at exactly 12 minutes. I did end up leaving them on the cookie sheet for about 3 minutes after I took them out of the oven to firm up a bit before moving them. The glaze was delicious too, and definitely a necesity to complete the cookie. If you like Starbucks cranberry bliss bars, you'll LOVE these cookies!

Microwave Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2010
Yum! I was skeptical but it turned out good. I used what I had, white cake mix, cherry pie filling and added 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips. Good stuff!

Dirt Cake I

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2010
Absolutely delicious! Made it for a baby shower with a "snakes & snails" theme and it was just perfect. Everyone loved it. It is very sweet and rich, next time I may omit the powdered sugar in the cream mixture as the oreos are plenty sweet on their own and it all ends up mixing together on the plate.
