French Toast Stars

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2008
I woke up this morning not knowing what to eat and I came across this recipe. Fortunately, i had all the ingredients minus the orange zest lying around so i tried it. This is such an easy recipe and the taste is pretty good. I only used 4 slices of wheat bread to make it a little healthier and I cut each slice into four pieces. I let them sit for a while in the mixture and that's probably why I only used 4 slices. But i would do this again because the slices were juicy and warm and really soft. I didn't use the orange zest but I definitely can see how it would taste good. The honey is a nice touch to it as well. I also recommend to leave the temp on med-low so that it doesn't burn because they cook fast. Overall it was delicious and I will probably make some more and put them in the freezer for my boyfriend to just microwave and eat in the mornings.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2008
I love blueberry muffins and I especially LOVE these blueberry muffins! I used frozen blueberries since blueberries are not in season right now and they did taste a little bitter. So next time, I'm definitely going to add a little bit more sugar or going to get some fresh blueberries. Bufreakt they still turned out amazing. I used brown sugar on the top and I think for the topping you can use half the amount of butter that they recommend. And please make sure the butter is at room temp or at least warm it up in the microwave for 30 seconds. I will be making these again. But beware, its hard to just eat one delicious muffin! I suggest making them smaller so that the portion that you eat is smaller... I'm kind of a health freak though.

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2008
I've definitely have made better cheesecakes. I used double oreo crust and i think i could have just 11/2ed it. Also the white chocolate is very subtle especially with the rasberry topping so you should add more if you want more of the white chocolate taste. I was very happy about the rasberry sauce though. It went really well with the cheesecake and I think I'll use the recipe for the sauve for other cheesecake recipes. Personally, my favorite cheesecake is still the Supreme cheesecake recipe on allrecipes. I think I'll experiment with that and add white chocolate and see how that turns out.

easy to make but it was just too heavy for me. I think next time I am going the fill the balls with ice cream instead of the vanilla pudding custard

Spanish Rice II

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2008
YUMMMYYYY! I added a teaspoon of cumin and added barely any salt (I think the chicken broth that I used helped make it a bit saltier) and it came out really yummy! My dad is such a picky eater and he loved it!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2008
With all the yummy stuff that goes into making this cake, how could it not be good? My only recommendation is to buy good ice cream. I bought a cheaper kind and wasn't as impressed with it as i think i would have been with a really yummy ice cream. I think next time I will use coffee ice cream.

Banana Cake VI

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2008
I really was disappointed in this recipe. I love banana cake so i was really excited and it turned out to be really heavy and dense. I followed the recipe exactly and I added some fresh banana to the top of the cake and some walnuts and still found it disappointing. I must say though that the frosting is delicious and that I will be using it for some other cakes that I make. If you like your banana cakes to be light and fluffy, do not use this recipe!

Tiramisu Layer Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2008
This was such a huge hit this christmas! I love this recipe but I listened to the other reviews and listened to their suggestions of making two layers of the cake with instant coffee mixed into it. I also didn't use that much frosting because it got pretty messy and I don't like things to be too sweet and it was still really great. The cake is really moist and the coffee taste is very subtle.

Cajun Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2008
This recipe is awesome and I love it. I usually dont have all the ingredients so I omit things here and there and it always turns out the same, which is delicious. Its a pretty heavy dish so I don't like to make it that often but when I do people love it and gobble it up. I love the cajun seasoning and I use A LOT of it but sometimes using too much can get salty so becareful! If you use a lot of that seasoning, I suggest that you omit putting in salt.

Thai Pineapple Chicken Curry

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2008
I made this last night and it was a huge hit! I listed to the other reviews and omitted the sugar (it would be totally unecessary!) and used 3T of the red curry paste. I also didn't use fish sauce and think that 3T of it would be way too salty so I just added 1T of soy sauce and i think that the saltyness was just right. My family ate this with some kimchee and thought that that mix of tastes was pretty awesome. haha but then again we are korean and eat kimchee with everything.

Cheesecake Supreme

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2008
I have made this cheesecake more than 20 times and it is my favorite cheesecake recipe BY FAR!!!! They key is that instead of using graham cracker, I mash up oreo cookies (taking out the inside cream) and the crust after its baked has a googy fudge like texture that is to die for! Also this recipe makes about 2 9inch cakes so beware and also needs a lot more time to bake in my oven.
