Chicken Glazed With Honey Mustard

Very nice and easy. Nothing fabulous but good flavours for a simple weekday dinner - which we all need from time to time. Will do it again for sure.

Summer Chicken Salad

Loved it! Love the sugar on the chicken, love the sugar in the dressing. And love the strawberries within the salad. Very nice light meal. Very healthy too!

Very nice! Did I mention I love garlic? Well the garlic and the butter went just perfect together with the salmon! I did not even use vinaigrette for the beans, I just steamed them and let them soak up the juicy sauce from the foil packet left over by cooking the fish!

Pam's Grilled Flank Steak

Fabulous recipe. Don't agree about leaving it overnight to marinate because when cooking steaks, I don't like the accompanying flavours to overpower the beef, especially since I usually cook it to a medium or medium-rare doneness. I also added a side of sttir-fried noodles with veges (store bought).

Halibut Piccata

I made this before, using a recipe called Capers and Halibut, on the Allrecipes website. This is when I even discovered Halibut and from then on there was no turning back. I love this recipe. I love this fish! More yummy recipes using halibut please!

Teriyaki Beef Kabobs with Pineapple

This was fantastic. The flavours came together perfectly, even though I used canned pineapples. Coming from SE Asia, I have a tip for you for an even better coconut rice. Saute some onions and ginger first before adding the rice and coconut milk. Then add a couple of pieces of "pandan" leaves tied up together into the mixture (available in your neighbourhood Asian grocery store). Cook as per normal. Heaven!

Grilled Lamb Chops with Tarragon

Loved it! I used a teaspoon on sugar instead of the shallot. Had to buy a big bag of it if I wanted to use it so I didn't bother cos I don't use shallots all that much. And I didn't want to cut a part of an onion up just for it either. I figured since we had a lot of vinegar and wine and stuff, the idea of shallots was to get some sweetness in, so I just used some sugar. Worked perfectly!

Asian Grilled Halibut Steaks

SUPER SUPER DUPER FABULOUS dish!!! I would follow the instructions precisely, especially for the amount of sugar. I worried so much when I added sugar cos I thought, hmmm, is this gonna work? But it did!! Fabulously! If I had added just one more gram, it would have been too much, so just follow the recipe closely and you will enjoy a fantastic meal!

Buttermilk Fried Chicken

My husband hates chicken parts - he eats only breast. But he does like them if they are crispy. And this recipe made sure that the fried chicken turned out crispy! I even used the leftover buttermilk in my mashed potatoes. Nice meal!

Sensational Spaghetti Carbonara

This was just ok. I can't tell if it was the recipe, or if it could have been the fact that I just don't like Spaghetti Carbonara. I'll go order it in a restaurant one of these days to know.
