Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2010
Slap yo mama good! Easy as heck, peaches are way toooo expensive, frozen was too, so I used canned and they turned out GREAT! First time I left some of the canned juice in it, but there really isn't a need for it! If you want more 'cake' double the topping recipe, although I love it just the way it is! By accident when I made this the first time i did not read the instructions thoroughly, so I sprinkled with BROWN sugar and some cinnamon. 2nd time I did it the right way (with white sugar) and loved the brown sugar/cinnamon more!

LOVE IT! You can use less heat for your preference. I've used dried basil when I didn't have fresh, fresh of course tastes better but still good!

Pumpkin Gingerbread

This is pretty darn close to the one sold at Starbucks! I followed recipe except for the allspice (I don't have any so I subbed with cinnamon/nutmeg/clove combo). I did reduce temp to 325 (I have a crazy electric stove) and did bake about 10 mins longer. SOOOOOOOOOO GOOD! Thank you! VERY MOIST too!

Polish Sausage Kraut Skillet

I didn't have caraway seeds, so I didn't use them. And like others omitted the sour cream/ flour step (although he added sour cream to the finished product after I mentioned I left out that step). My boyfriend almost ate the WHOLE PAN!!! He left a small corner!

First time making these and they were VERY easy to make! I did roll in sugar sprinkles, had no problem with them sticking! I was an idiot however and frosted BEFORE I put in the oven but they are still good LOL. I did have to add more water to the frosting to get a better consistancy.

THE BEST PANCAKES!!! You can adjust milk to have thicker or thinner pancakes! I have been using this for a year now and this is THE BEST one on here! I always have the ingredients and sometimes I sub with buttermilk when I do have that on hand!

Next time I will put it in a smaller pan or double the peaches and use some of the juice from the canned peaches. Other than that it was perfect, a hit at my new year's day dinner party. Served it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, there was NONE LEFT!!!

I was out of mix and decided to try it from scratch. I will NEVER buy a box of mix ever again! I used 3/4 cup of milk and instead of oil used butter. The pancakes were nice and thick!!!

Vegan Pancakes

SO YUMMY! SLOWWWWLY converting my 8&5 year olds to vegan/ clean eating. I halfed the recipe (in case they didn't like it). Here are my subs whole spelt flour (same amout). Melted Earth Balance 'butter' spread (I halfed so only 1/2 a tbsp), and organic/vegan/kosher natural sugar. Oh instead of all water, I did half almond milk. And as all pancakes for my sons, added vegan chocolate chips. My son LOVED them!!!! Thank you for sharing this recipe. And for meanies please do not say I changed the recipe. I DID NOT. I just subbed with my products and I wanted to share in case anyone else is wondering the same. They taste great and my boys who are not open to this change in our food habits ate them allll up!

I followed instructions to the tee. Fairly easy to make. If you are not putting on a glaze, add just a little more sugar.
