Watermelon and Cucumber Juice with a Spritz of Lime
Variation: We didn't have lime so added two mint leaves instead. We also don't have a juicer so I peeled the cucumber and threw it all in our high-speed blender. Yum. Would put over ice next time to chill it further.

Red Kidney Beans (Rajma)
This vegetarian recipe packs a nice spicy punch after an initial sweet taste. We were pleased with this and will be making it again. We did not have whole cloves or a cinnamon stick so we substituted 1/2 tsp each of ground cloves and cinnamon and this seemed to be appropriate.

Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers
I've made this recipe several times now and it's always a hit. I now form the patties and put them in the fridge for half an hour --it has reduced how much they fall apart on the grill, though I find that a pan on the barbecue is a good place to start them. When they're firm enough, move them to the grill for a final sizzle on the 'cue.
