The only reason I'm a professional is because I sell what I make - I am self-trained, but would LOVE to go to school to become a pastry chef. I dream about it and drool over the photos on FLICKR. I own a coffee shop in Louisville and make the scones, cookies, bars, and some of the desserts and other breakfast pastries as I have time. I also work at a REALLY big company in the IT Department as a Business Analyst/QA Analyst.

Latin - puerto rican rice and beans, ropas vieja, Italian - pasta with white wine pesto, Baking - ALL, too many to mention!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Killer rolls (bread, cinnamon, butter, pecans, secret ingredients) on Thanksgiving and Christmas mornings. Bread cornucopia on Thanksgiving.
