About this Cook
I am a recently married So Cal native. I have a bachelor's in photojournalism from CSU Fullerton. I currently am working as a teacher's substitute.
My favorite things to cook
Spraghetti, and beefy things in my slow cooker.
My favorite family cooking traditions
grandma made salmon patties- I can't find my copy, but there was canned salmon, egg, and saltine craackers. My other grandma wrote a meatloaf recipe telling how many ketchup packets (from fast food) it would take in her meatloaf recipe- definitely an unusual source for condiments, but thrifty:)
My cooking triumphs
I am good at roasting chickens- I made a turkey dinner for my parents and in laws when my husband and I were dating
My cooking tragedies
First time I used my slow cooker, I burnt the food (didn't put liquid in.) I am horrible at eggs, except I can make scrambled.

London Broil for the Slow Cooker
I usually don't do as much garlic, since my people are not garlic people- but it's not too much. This is epic over rice with the sauce.

Cucumber Salsa
My mom and husband both agreed- too much sour cream and yogurt, could not taste the flavoring. It would be helpful to know how many cups of cucumber, two medium was not enough for me.
