Broccoli Casserole III

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2009
My family didn't like this much at all and we all love broccoli casserole normally. It was pretty bland other than the overwhelming ritz cracker and butter taste.

Juicy Thanksgiving Turkey

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2009
The turkey did turn out pretty juicy, but my family was not crazy about the flavor. It had some sort of twang to it and I wish I had tried the recipe before using it on Thanksgiving. I followed the recipe exactly except for using an oven bag.

Easy Deviled Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2009
This is by far the best chicken recipe I have ever made. I used Stovetop chicken stuffing mix instead of herb (crushed up as much as possible while in the bag), dijon mustard and cooked for a little less time, but I didn't make any major changes at all. Even my husband who hates chicken loved it. Truly amazing. Thanks for the recipe!!

Asparagus with Garlic and Onions

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2009
I didn't change a thing, except used chopped garlic instead of sliced, but I thought this recipe was a little bland. Seems like it needs something more. I'll try adding some lemon pepper next time.

Baked Soy Lemon Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2008
My whole family loved this recipe, even my picky 4 and 8 year olds. I didn't make any significant changes. I used two big spoonfuls of the already minced garlic you get in the produce section. Garlic is such a pain to chop yourself. Also, I used 6 slim boneless chops and olive oil instead of vegetable oil. We didn't think it was too salty.

Irish Champ

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2008
This is so delicious! My husband is from Co. Monaghan Ireland and I made this for his family. His mom hadn't made it in years since her kids are grown now and she doesn't have anyone to cook for, but she thoroughly enjoyed it. I generally use about half as many green onions as it calls for.

Mulligatawny Soup I

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2008
Excellent, but not as a soup. Mine turned out pretty thick, but my husband and I both agree that it's better that way. The only changes I made is I used milk instead of cream and left out the apples because I don't like cooked apples much. I used red curry powder in the amount specified and it was pretty spicy. A little bread and butter along with it helped to make it more mild. My husband thought it was the best meal I've ever made!

Creamy Chicken and Vegetables

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2007
This was very good. The only change I made was I used FF cream of mushroom soup. I only gave it four stars because it could have been better if it had just a little more flavor. Overall though, great for such as easy dish.

Creole Tuna

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2007
I absolutely loved this recipe even though I didn't have any stewed tomatoes on hand or cajun seasoning. I used a can of diced tomatoes primavera and the optional seasonings listed below the recipe. It turned out delicious over rice. I can't wait to try the leftovers tomorrow!
