Pasta Bake

Loved it. I did make some changes though. Instead of ground beef I used spicy Italian sausage. I also used fresh mushrooms instead of canned.

Grilled Vegetables with Balsamic Vinegar

Great side dish. Since I was cooking chicken in the oven at 425 degrees, I decided to cook them simultaneously. To marinade the vegetables, I cut peppers, onions, squash, butternut squash into squares, put them all into a gallon size plastic bag and poured the marinade in. After shaking the bag vigorously I laid it on the counter, turning it occasionally for a couple of hours. I removed the vegetables, spread them on a cookie sheet and baked them for 8 minutes on each side. Turned out wonderful.

Jalapeno Pepper Appetizers

I've made these a couple of times now and they're always gone first. I added some taco seasoning to the cream cheese before stuffing the peppers, That added a lot of flavor. Then I baked them at 400 for about 40 minutes, which made the bacon nice and crisp.

Roasted Red Pepper Chicken

This was great! I made some changes though. Stuffed the chicken with Feta and peppers. I added garlic powder and Italian Seasoning to the bread crumbs and then fried it in olive oil. I also added garlic, chili powder, a dash of Cayenne pepper and feta to the sour cream sauce. Poured the sauce over the chicken during the last few minutes of cooking. Yummy.

My Mom's Parmesan Chicken

I used skinless, boneless chicken breast. Followed the recipe exactly. However, I only baked the chicken for 20 minutes total. After 10 minutes I added the wine. Worked out very well. I made enough to have "leftovers". Took those pieces out earlier so they won't be too dry. Great recipe.

Basil Cream Chicken

This was fabulous and my husband said "You can make that again". I did make some changes, as usual. I added chopped Garlic, used half & half instead of cream and added more chicken broth to have enough to pour over the bowtie pasta. I also used sun dried tomatoes (because they were on hand) rather than Pimentos.

Chicken Cordon Bleu I

After reading several reviews, I added Paprika and Garlic powder to the breadcrumbs. The store had thin sliced chicken breast and it worked great. I rolled the folded chicken in egg and then in the breadcrumbs. Then I topped the whole thing with a pad of butter. I also made a sauce of Cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and fresh lemon juice. Turned out great.

Feta Cheese and Bacon Stuffed Breasts

Made this for the first time yesterday and loved it. I cut the slit into the breast and marinated the chicken breast in the sauce for a couple of hours and then stuffed it. Like some others mentioned, I pre-cooked a slice of bacon and wrapped it around the breast. Yummy.

Yummy Cheese Ball

I made this for a super bowl party and it was very popular. The only changes I made was that I cooked the bacon in the microwave on paper towels to reduce the fat. The other thing is that I added chili powder to give it a little zing.

Hazelnut Chicken in Prosciutto-Cream Sauce

Like the other reviews, I normally only make recipes that have 4-5 stars and lots of reviews. This one sounded good, so I tried it. My husband and company raved about it. Our friends wanted the recipe, so I gave them my copy. I doubled the sauce and it was very tasty. Served it with Angel Hair pasta tossed with olive oil, fresh tomatoes, garlic and basil. Yummy. I will definitely make this again.

Pork and Pepper Stir Fry

This was the best. I couldn't find chili paste, only chili sauce, so I used it. I doubled the amount, because we like spicy. We served it over Basmati Rice and it was outstanding. Thank goodness for leftovers.

Spinach and Sun-Dried Tomato Pasta

Loved it! Having said that, I made a couple of changes. For one thing I marinated chicken breast in It. dressing for a couple of hours. Fried the chicken in olive oil and cut it into cubes. Added that to the pasta. I didn't have "de-hydrated" sun dried tomatoes, so I used the ones in the jar. I also doubled the Garlic and the red pepper

Garlic Prime Rib

I used a smaller cut (4lbs), left the marinade the same and adjusted the cooking time. 450 for 20 minutes and 325 for 50 minutes. When the meat temperature was 120 I took it out and let it sit for 10 minutes. It was a perfect rare/med rare and fabulous. I will need to get a digital meat thermometer though.

Best Ever Jalapeno Poppers

These went over very well. They were a lot of work, I thought, so I tripled the recipe and froze the rest uncooked. Then I defrosted them in the fridge overnight and they turned out the same.

Pepper Chicken Piccata

To me a recipe is a guideline and then I alter it to our taste. First I marinated the chicken in white wine and lemon juice. I increased the Cayenne and added garlic to the veggie mixture too. We tossed it all with bow tie pasta and it was delicious.

Chicken Breast Stuffed with Spinach Blue Cheese and Bacon

I pretty much followed the recipe, except I added fresh garlic to the spinach and since we like Blue Cheese, I added more of that. Once the chicken breast was stuffed, I rolled the whole thing in flour and bread crumbs and fried it. Yummy

Avocado Feta Salsa

I have made this a few times now and it always goes over great. I tossed the avocados in lemon juice and they stayed green through the party. I served it with Whaleed's Pita Chips. Because we had so many people over, I doubled the recipe. It was too much. The original recipe is just fine.

Stuffed Jalapenos III

I served this on Super Bowl Sunday. Like one of the other reviewers suggested I put 1 tbls of Taco Seasoning into the cream cheese. The platter was empty in no time flat. I'll definitely make it again.
