Key Lime Pie VII

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2010
This was really good. I will probably cut back a little on the lime juice the next time I make it. A tidbit tart. But still great. Use to buy at the grocery store. Not anymore.

Shrimp Scampi III

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2010
This was a simple and pretty appetizing dish. I was out of garlic cloves so I substituted garlic powder. Can't wait to try it again with garlic cloves and maybe change it to 5 stars.

Chocolate Cookie Cheesecake

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2009
Responding to Wendy. It says 2 lbs. So that would be four(4) 8 oz. packs of cream cheese. I'm looking forward to trying this one later. I'm about to cook my wife a Praline Cheesecake I found on another site.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2009
I've cooked this a few times. It is really good plain or with your favorite toppings. I made it for my wife the first time for her birthday and she love it. Been making it every since. Has never cracked using the water bath. The 1/4 cup of almond, 1/4 cup of butter, 1/4 cup of sugar, and 1 1/2 cup of graham crackers that one review suggested gave the crust a really good flavor. You won't be disappointed with this recipe. To get a smooth clean cut when slicing the cheesecake, stick the knife in a glass of hot water for a few second to warm the knife. Dry off knife then slice.

I love this recipe. It's always a hit and get requested to make this recipe rather if it's family get togethers, parties or even work. Always in demand. Been making for years.

Day Before Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: May 7, 2008
These so good. I've made these several times. They always get raved about. Most of the time I make them with the "Broiled Tilapia Parmesan", which is also a great recipe. Such a great meal with a vegetable.

My Chili

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2006
This is a good recipe. Definitely on my keeper list. Great mild taste, so if you want more kick to it you might want to add some peppers or more chili powder.

No Bake Cookies I

Reviewed: May 1, 2006
I remember when we use to have these for dessert sometime back when I was in school. I use to loved them. I've always wanted this recipe. Now that I have it I get to make them when ever I desire them. They turned out great. Just like the good ole school daze.

Barbara's Golden Pound Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2006
I love pound cakes. This is my first pound cake I've baked. I've made it several times and very pleased that it always turns out great. Tasted just like the ones I grew up on eating the after church Sunday dinners. Now I can cook it myself. Moist and dense. My mother-in-law loves when I make it. Definitely a keeper.

Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2006
This was a great recipe. I really enjoyed it. I added more beef broth and flour to make more gravy. Meat had a great flavor to it. I also let it simmer in the gravy. Although it was good with the cherry wine, I will try without the wine but with mushrooms next time to see how it taste. I cooked the Day Before Mashed Potatoes recipe on this site with it and it was fantastic.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2005
This is truly a great tasting recipe that doesn't take long to cook. If you love or if you like fish you will not be disappointed. Also easy to prepare and cook. I've made it several times. My wife often ask me when am I going to cook it again.
