Lemon Curd Tassies

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2009
I gave this three stars because I followed the recipe exactly and the filling would not thicken up no matter what I tried. I was so desperate at one point that I added some corn starch with a little water and they still wouldnt get thick. As far as flavor, they are good but too runny for me.

Fettuccini with Mushroom, Ham and Rose Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2008
Delicious recipe!! The only change I made was to add a smidgen of corn starch at the end to thicken the sauce a little more. Definitely a keeper!

Heavenly White Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2007
I consider myself to be an above average baker and this was the first homemade white cake that I have ever tried. It was phenomenal!! I took some to school and some to work. People were asking me if I would take orders for Thanksgiving. Another asked me if I would consider doing a wedding cake, it was that good!! I made sure to follow the recipe exactly including the sifting and adjusted the milk to 1.5 cups. A must for everyone to try!!

Roasted Vegetables

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2007
I was very excited to try this recipe given all of the great reviews but was sort of disappointed. Followed the recipe to a "t" and found it too have too much rosemary and thyme. Will use less next time.

Honey Roasted Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2006
I made a few changes to this one. First off, I used russet potatoes instead of red. I also added about a 1/4 cup of brown sugar to the sauce to make them a little sweeter. I then added about 1/2 c. chedar cheese at the end. Fantastic!!!

Jelly Roll

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2006
I am an expert at making other cake rolls - I followed this recipe exactly and it was a very dry crumbled mess. I can't recomend this.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie III

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2005
After reading the other reviews, I made a few changes. First off I mixed up the cream cheese until creamy. I then used a 1/2 c of peanut butter and added a 1/2 c of powdered sugar. I also used chocolate cool whip instead of the regular flavor. I omitted the chips. Turned out fantastic for my peanut butter loving family.
