Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2006
I made this last year and I made 2 this year. For a person that does not care for turkey at all, I ate an awful lot of it. It could not have been more moist and juicy. It also had a great flavor. I will continue to use this recipe.

Antipasto Squares

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2007
This is a great recipe. I used 2 15.5 oz. cans of crescent bread. You can't go wrong by changing up the ingredients. I made 2. The 2nd pan consisted of diffrent deli meats, bacon and various types of shredded cheese. My husband thought it was better than the 1st pan (which was what the recipe called for). You can even make it ahead of time before you bake it.

Golden Rum Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2007
This is an excellent, easy and moist cake. I served it at a ladies luncheon and everyone loved it. I actually followed the recipe exact besides adding a little extra rum. I'm sure you can alter it without any dissatisfaction!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
This was one of the best recipes that i have tried on this website. It was quick, easy and tasted great. I added more parsley, minced garlic and pepper to taste. My only suggestion is to not add salt until it's in a bowl. The ham is usually salty enough.

Alabama Pulled Pig

Reviewed: May 28, 2008
This recipe was excellent. I have only made bbq a few times now and i never would have thought to use most of these ingredients. My husband was also a little skeptical but, it turned out great. We made it for a family get together and EVERYONE loved it!!! We will be definitely using this again within a short time.

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: May 23, 2007
This was great. The chicken was so tender. I did let the chicken marinade for an entire day though. I think next time, I might add extra honey and some pineapple just to make it sweeter.

Grilled Corn on the Cob

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2007
This is actually an old recipe. If you want to make it easier, just remove the husk too. It really taste great though by being wrapped up in butter, salt & pepper and then grilled. It's one of my favorites of all time.

Peanut Butter Fudge I

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2006
I agree with the rest of the reviews. This recipe did not turn out like I had anticipated. I noticed it was rather liquidy so I started to add more marshmellows in the hopes of it firming. I doubled the recipe and used 2 (9X13) and 1 8X8 sized pans. The 8X8 firmed nicely. The other 2 not so much.

Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimp and Basil

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
I made this last night and it turned out okay...nothing exceptional! I did have to substitute the dry white wine for a Riesling. I'm sure this altered the taste a bit. I'll try it again using a dry wine next time.

Indonesian Satay

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2007
I did not care for this at all. The chicken turned out dry (I'm assuming from the peanut butter). It was very messy and it had too much of a peanut taste to it. Maybe I let it marinade too long (2 days). I will not make it again though.
