Crispy Baked French Toast

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2013
My fiance loved it! He loves the crunchy texture. I thought it was good, but prefer the traditional french toast more. I prepared the recipe with these few changes - added cinnamon, no butter or oil and cooked it 10 minutes on each side as per previous reviews. Will be making this again for my fiance! Thanks for the fun recipe!

Spinach and Sun-Dried Tomato Pasta

Reviewed: May 27, 2009
It was great, but a little too tangy for my taste. I think this was because I used oil packed tomatoes...not too sure. I added some brown sugar and a pinch of garlic salt and it turned out perfectly. Next time, I will use the sun dried tomatoes that aren't oiled. It was delicious and beautiful. Thanks for the recipe!

Lemon Rosemary Salmon

Followed the recipe to the tee. One minor addition: listen to the others and place the salmon in a foil bag. Keeps it juicy!

Pasta Pomodoro

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2009
Great recipe! I had this at Zio's Italian Restaurant and decided to make it. Changed up a few things. Light and tasty! 1. Like most reviews, less pasta! 8 oz of angel hair is more than enough. (half of the original) 2. Dry basil works just as well. 3. 1 can of diced tomatoes (w/basil and oregano seasoning) 4. Used two packages of crushed peppers, you know, from the pizza places.

Broccoli Chicken Divan

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2007
I altered the reciped a bit. I did not add extra Cheddar cheese and I used stuffing mix as topping instead of bread crumbs. It turned out delicious and probably much less fattening than the original recipe. It did not lost its richness, and I even used skim milk. Thanks for the easy recipe!

Wonderful recipe! I also followed other's advice and used the Good Seasonings Italian Dressing packet and let it marinate in 3/4 of the dressing overnight. It turned out great! Thanks for the recipe!

Eggplant Parmesan II

Reviewed: May 8, 2007
I prepared the eggplants like the previous suggestions (salting and sweating for 30 minutes prior) and cooked them for 10 minutes on each side. The recipe was delicious! I served it with a bed of angel hair pasta. A little time consuming...nevertheless, it was a great recipe! Thanks!

No Bake Cookies III

These turned out soo great! I also reduced the sugar by a fourth as suggested. They took overnight to set...probably had to do with the boiling time (I did it for 90 seconds)...nevertheless it was worth it!! Thanks!!

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Great meatloaf! I followed the recipe except I used 3 egg whites and one yolk, no ginger, and used 1% milk to help cut down on the fat and cholesterol. It turned out great and absolutely no extra sauce is needed! Thanks for the recipe!

Mexican Rice III

It was my first attempt at making mexican rice and it turned out perfectly, despite the fact I was missing a few ingredients. I left out the garlic, and used canned tomatoes & onions, and dried cilantro...yet it was still delicious! Thank you for the great recipe!
