Growing up in a military family, it gave me the opportunity to not only to see the world, but experience each culture through cooking. My mother always made sure my siblings and I were well educated in cultural cooking and living. For this I am thankful for, because I have been able to entertain guests with extraordinary meals and ideas.
My favorite things to cook
I am more amp to cook Asian dishes, than anything else.
My favorite family cooking traditions
There aren't any traditions amongst the family. We eat what our taste buds crave...that's it.
My cooking triumphs
I mastered the baking of a Cranberry-Apple Pie.
My cooking tragedies
At 6, I tried to cook my mother breakfast in bed, and ended up burning the sausage patties and eggs. The toast was just fine. Also there was a recipe for stuffed chicken breasts using cheddar cheese, bread crumbs and apples...Turned out awful! I just don't think apples and cheddar cheese are meant for each other.
