BBQ Chicken Pizza I

Reviewed: May 26, 2007
this BBQ chicken pizza was great! I used a whole wheat pizza dough and I think next time I will stick with a more traditional oizza dough. Other wise this recipe was great! I would add more cilantro next time! This is something I will continue to make again!

Chicken Garlic Pizza

Reviewed: May 26, 2007
This was a good pizza, but I think a few needed adjestments would do the trick. Baking at 350 was not enough, I would have gone with 400+ degrees. I would swap ricotta with feta, 1/2 cup paresan vs 1/4 cup and I would have added more garlic (For garlic lovers). I will make it again for round 2!

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies III

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2007
These Cookies are amazing. I followed the suggestion of others by adding only 1 c. chocolate chips. I didnt do much altering to the recipes other than adding only 1 tsp. cinnamon and 1 tsp. pumpkin spice. These are by far the best pumpkin chocolate chip cookie I've had. I'll make them again.

Blackberry Cobbler II

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2008
Overall, this recipe was AMAZING. The blackberry filling was the best I've had. I did not care for the "drop dough". For some reason it did not turn out very good. So I am still searching for the best cobbler crumb topping to go with this amazing filling! ENJOY!

Old Fashioned Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2008
This was absolutely delicious! I am giving this 4 stars. I took everyones advice about this recipe by doing the following changes: 1 cup butter, 12-13 peaches, 2 tsp. vanilla, 1/4 cup orange juice, 1/2 cup white sugar, 1 cup brown sugar, 1/8 tsp. nutmeg, and 3.5 T corn starch. Including the lattice top I also added a crumb topping: 1 cup brown sugar, 1 cup flour and 1/4 cup butter cubed. The ONLY thing I would change about this recipe is the orange juice and lemon juice. Even though I really reduced the OJ by half a cup, it had a trace of citrus flavor. Maybe next time I will 86 both the lemon and orange juice. Other wise, ENJOY! (My husband loved it too!)

Wonderful! I took the advice of others by reducing the sugar to 6 cups. Next time I may even use only 4 cups. The taste of the pears is delightful! Enjoy!!

Pasta Primavera with Italian Turkey Sausage

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2009
This was good. I give it a 4 star because it was VERY tasty and I was rather surprised. I did use a 14oz can of tomatoes and that worked very well. Especially with the flavor of the dish. I will make this again! Thanks!

Garbanzo Bean Chocolate Cake (Gluten Free!)

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2009
Somehow, I happened to stumble upon this recipe and was curious about it. The reviews all seemed to say good things so I decided to try it. This chocolate cake is great! I LOVE that its made from garbonzo beans because you get more nutritional benefits compared to regular flour. The taste is good once they have cooled. So, let the cool completley and enjoy!

Blueberry Buckle

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2009
This is "The Best!". Follow this recipe exactly because it turned out great. The ONLY recommendation is to watch your cook time. Cooking this in an 8X8 pan for 25-30 minutes is not enough. I'd give it 40+ minutes. Just be sure to check it with a toothpick. Aside from the extra cooking time needed, this Blueberry Buckle recipe is better than store bought or anything else Ive had! Totally de-lish!

Lola's Horchata

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2010
Good for a basic recipe. Like other reviewers, you need to adjust this to your own personal taste. I doubled the recipe, added only 1 cup of sugar and strained out the cinnamon (which left the perfect amount of cinnamon to taste). The milk I doubled and also added some cream, because that's what I had. :) My husband loved how I adjusted the taste and next time I will soak this over night! Good recipe... I'd say 3 stars.

American Lasagna

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2010
Delicious! As a basic recipe, I give this 5 stars. Of course we modify a recipe to what we have in our kitchen. I followed this exactly plus or minus a few things and I also added extra sauce. I will always use this recipe when I make lasagna if that says anything to you. Very good! Enjoy!

GREAT RECIPE! This one is a keeper. These pancakes turned out light and fluffy, just the way they are supposed to be. To adjust to my personal taste I will add an extra 1 tbsp. sugar and less salt. Enjoy! :)

Boiled Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2011
Great recipe! This works well with chicken breast too. I recommend that the chicken be thawed for even cooking. Because I did not have all ingredients, I had to improvise. I used 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp celery salt, 1/8 tsp garlic powder and 1/4 onion powder. This turned out great! This one is a keeper!

Italian Dressing Mix

Fabulous Italian Dressing Mix. I used 2 tsp. of salt and I feel that this dressing had enough flavor. For best results and best taste, prepare 24 ahead of time. Really yummy! I may consider this my "Italian Seasoning" too. Enjoy! :)
