I'm a true Brazilian girl, born and raised, living in the USA for 30 years now, going back to visit in March, 2008 taking my daughter(22) for the first time, and my new husband, on vacation, it's been too long, last time was 9-11-2001....
My favorite things to cook
I just love to make different dishes, my husband just loves my cooking, and my Caipirinhas, and Roberto Carlos, I just re-discovery him after 30 yeas.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love all the holidays, but my favorite is X-mass, we always have a big bash, lots of appetizers and fantastic entrees and of course terrific desserts and awesome drinks :-)
My cooking triumphs
My cookouts are always big , I guess because of my Brazilian back ground with meats, marinated meats on the grille, everybody wants my recipes, last year I had CBS(KYW) from Philly broadcast live from my house one my Brazilian chicken on the grille.
My cooking tragedies
Once I had guests for breakfast, I made this huge omelet, put too much cheese.... got very watery, so I toss it in the garbage and made them take me out for breakfast ;-)
