Blackberry Pie I

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2006
This recipe is fantastic. I used berries that I had picked down the street from my house and a refrigerated pie crust from Trader Joe's, and the end result was delicious and super easy to make! The milk and sugar on the top crust made it nice and crunchy. I'm going to make another pie in a couple of days!

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

I love this recipe! My boyfriend and I couldn't believe how well the chicken turned out and how amazing it tasted! Although it may be a little on the naughty side (calorically speaking), I will definitely make this dish again.

A to Z Everything-but-the-Kitchen-Sink Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2006
Wonderful cookies! A little on the difficult side as far as finding the right amount of dough to use per cookie in order to get them just right, but they're worth the trouble. I made them as Christmas gifts this year and they were a huge hit! Hint: I omitted the cloves to keep the flavor more mild, and they tasted great.

Original Nestle® Toll House® Chocolate Chip Cookies

I make these cookies all the time, and they're super easy. Plus, you can get five dozen cookies out of one batch! My best trick is to cream the butter/sugar/vanilla mixture by hand with a fork until it's perfectly blended, and then I add the eggs one at a time. I also make sure to add the flour a little bit at a time. With my insulated cookie sheets, these always come out perfectly golden brown around the edges while still a little soft in the middle. Yummy!

Chocolate Lovers' Favorite Cake

Very easy to make, and delicious! It was my first time baking a bundt cake and it came out just right! If you really want to go all-out, try icing it with Whipped Cream Cream Cheese Frosting - they make a rich and yummy combination.

Whipped Cream Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2005
Delicious and easy! I followed the advice of other reviewers and chilled the mixing bowl and wisks before whipping the cream and to whip the cream before the cream cheese (so as not to get any cream cheese in the liquid cream, which will hinder its becoming whipped), and it came out just right. The frosting is not too sweet and not too sour or overpowering. I put it atop the Chocolate Lover's Chocolate Cake, and they went together perfectly! Yummy!
