Overnight Blueberry French Toast

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2007
So, so good. I dont let it sit overnight though. I just mix the egg mixture together, dip the pieces of bread in it, put it in the dish and then pour the eggs over the top (I also add a touch of vanilla into the eggs). I think it comes out a little soggy when I let it sit overnight.

Curried Cashew, Pear, and Grape Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2007
Doubled the recipe for a birthday BBQ and got great reviews. I think I could have cut down on the cayenne because with the amount it called for, it was a little too spicey for little ones but all the adults loved it. I also used half the oil.

Dip For The Stars

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2007
Followed recipe exactly and everyone loved it however, I think this dip needs to be served at room temperature. For some reason it was much better that way.

Blueberry Crisp II

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2006
So good. Doubled the recipes in 11x13in dish and baked for 40 min. Not too sweet like some crisps and I could not tell there was mayo in it. I was scared to add so much but turned out great.

Fruit Dip VI

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2006
This was wonderful. I made it for guests and could not stop eating it. Use good vanilla and I did heat my cream cheese for a bit (only a couple of seconds) to make it softer and easier to mix with the sugar. I didnt have to let it sit at all.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2006
My friend insisted I try these cookies and while they were very good, they were too cake like for my husband and I. If you want a big chewy cookie, try The Best Big, Fat, Chewy, Chocolate Chip Cookie on this site. I have tried several different cookie recipes and those are the best!

Shrimp and Asparagus

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2005
Very good recipe. I didnt see any point in the olive oil so I got rid of it and cooked the garlic and shrimp in the butter. I did cut down on that also but not much.

Winter Fruit Salad with Lemon Poppyseed Dressing

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2005
Good recipe if you like sweet. I think using 2 apples and pears and adding more cranberries would have been better. I cubed my swiss.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes Secret Recipe

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2005
Great recipe however, next time I make these I think I will add some cream instead of using all the butter. They were a little dry and noticed others thought that as well. Also, do be careful with the oregano. Add it in slowly to taste.

Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2005
My prosciutto was sliced so thin I had to use a couple of pieces but that was fine. Also, when I scaled the recipe to 16 serving it said to buy 2 lbs. I only bought one and that was plenty. At $15.00 a lb I didnt want to buy more than I needed. I imagine regular cream cheese would work the same also. Great recipe though.

Bourbon Pecan Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2005
I was in a hurry to prepare so I took out the butter and just coated chicken with the pecans and bread crumbs. For the sauce all I had was salted butter and it still turned out great (although unsalted butter would have been better).

Amazingly Good Eggnog

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2005
This was a great recipe. It wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be. After it sat overnight the nutmeg became very strong so I may cut down on that nextime. Other than that it was very good. Thank you.

Antipasto Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2005
I'm sorry but I thought this recipes was terrible. It was a fortune to make and took forever to prepare. The herbs were overpowering. I took it to a party and not a single person liked it.
