These were okay. I'm not sure I would make again. I ended up using canned sloppy job mix and a mixed style of shredded cheese. I might try to make again with a different type of filling.

These were really good. I made a few changes to the recipe - I smashed half of the can of pinto beans. I used only grated cheese - a Mexican blend. I did not use taco seasoning because I find it too salty - instead I threw in 2 teaspoons each of cumin and chili powder. I added a clove of garlic - diced. I used green enchilada sauce which was the absolute perfect topping. And I used fresh salsa that I had just made myself.

Mouse's Macaroni and Cheese

This was absolutely amazing - definitely the best homemade mac and cheese I have ever made. I followed the recipe as is, and it was perfect. I had to fight my brother and boyfriend for the leftovers.

Peanut Butter Fruit Dip

I catered a friend's bridal shower and made this dip. People seemed skeptical when I told them the ingredients, but one taste was all it took to change their minds. This was very delicious and incredibly easy to make. I followed the recipe exactly and served it with apple slices (dipped in lemon juice) and fresh strawberries.

Sparkling Punch

I catered a friend's bridal shower and made this punch. I was a little underwhelmed with the taste. It was just kind of bland, I thought. I also served a lemonade/ice tea mix at the shower, and that was the more popular drink.

Blackberry Spinach Salad

I catered a friend's bridal shower and make this salad. I used a combination of baby spinach and romaine lettuce. I used pecans instead of walnuts, but that was a personal preference. And I did not use the edible flowers. I mixed everything together with an Italian vinagrette, and it was very good and very popular at the shower.

German Chocolate Cake Frosting II

This is my first stint at making German Chocolate Frosting, and it came out great! I did feel like I was stirring forever to get it to thicken, so I turned up the heat a bit and kept stirring, and it finally thickened up to what I felt was the right consistency.

Pecan Praline Cookies

OMG! These are sinful! I made these for my dad for Father's Day, and they were gone by the end of the day. I followed the recipe exactly - it's hard to improve upon perfection. I will definitely be making these for my coworkers at Christmas.

Vegetable Fried Rice

This was very tasty. I used olive oil instead of peanut oil since that's what I had on hand. I used chili sesame oil which is spicy, so I omitted the red pepper flakes. And instead of canned baby peas, I used half a bag of frozen peas and carrots. Yummy!

Sweet and Spicy Green Beans

Oh my god - these were so good! And I'm not even a big fan of green beans! I couldn't find my steamer device, so I just put them in a covered dish in the microwave with a little water and cooked for 3 minutes. And I didn't have any honey, so I used a little corn syrup. But otherwise I followed the recipe, and the green beans were awesome!

Tiny Chicken Turnovers

These were okay. I wasn't terribly impressed. I will try making them again, but will try different spices to kick it up a notch. I just thought they were too bland. I did use premade dough and a 3 inch cookie cutter which worked out really well.

Easy OREO Truffles

This got rave reviews at bunko - everyone asked for the recipe. A few tips - I used a pastry blender to blend the cream cheese and crumbs, and that worked really well. I let the blended mixture sit in the freezer for about an hour. Then I rolled the balls and let them sit in the freezer for several hours. I used almond bark which melted easily in the microwave. Then I placed a few balls at a time in the melted chocolate and lifted them out with a slotted spoon. The balls held together well because they were frozen, and the slotted spoon worked well in removing excess chocolate.

Garden Veggie Pizza Squares

I got a little too enthusiastic with my veggie dicing - I used the food processor and practically ended up with a veggie pesto. So I just combined this veggie paste with the cream cheese and added shredded cheddar as well, and it turned out great! It still made a pretty presentation, and they were very popular at bunko. I only used half of the dip mix after reading several reviews, but next time I think I will use all the dip mix.

Crescent Bacon Cheese Tartlet

I made this for bunko and followed the directions per the recipe. They turned out pretty well, but you really do have to watch to make sure you don't add too much egg into each dough-lined cup.

Chocolatey Peanut Pretzel Bars

These were yummy. I used one roll of chocolate chip cookie dough and made them in a smaller brownie pan. I also crushed 2 Heath bars and added along with the pretzels and peanuts. Very good! I thought it baked a little too long - I will probably try 20 minutes next time.
