This is a delicious salad bursting with beautiful color and freshness. It's very easy to make and convenient to make a day ahead. I like cilantro and think it really makes the salad so would definitely not omit or substitute with parsley if possible.

Chocolate Ganache

This is a super easy, rich, and delicious icing. I used Lindt 70% cocoa dark chocolate and spread the frosting on a nearly flourless chocolate cake and it was heaven for chocolate lovers! Will definitely make again.

Applesauce Cake I

I made this substituting 1/2 cup of agave nectar for the sugar and 1 cup of whole wheat flour for white, and it turned out great! Very easy to make and had a nice flavor and texture- ideal for breakfast/brunch, or a healthy snack or dessert. Will definitely make this again! Note: baking time was only about 15 minutes in my oven in a 9" square pan, so make sure to check well before the instructed 40 minutes are up.

Aargau Carrot Cake

This is a delicious and uniquely-flavored, lemony cake. I cut the sugar to half a cup and it was plenty sweet. I also topped it with a glaze made from the juice of half a lemon and some powdered sugar. Note: it only took about 20 minutes to bake in my oven. My husband and family topped the cake with plain yogurt and gave rave reviews. I'll definitely make it again, but double the recipe next time!
