Excellent recipe. Even my husband loved it. I followed the recipe except used mexican corn instead of hominy and used 2 cups of water. This will be a regular in our house.

Very Easy Risotto

We loved this recipe. I didn't have any garlic as someone suggested but I added 1/4 tsp. of garlic powder and some salt. This will definitely be a regular side dish.

Bow Tie Pasta with Sausage and Sweet Peppers

We thought this recipe was good...not spectacular. I followed the original recipe b/c I wanted to rate the recipe and not my version of it. After my hubby taste-tested it, I had to go back and add more broth. I will make again tweaking it to our tastes.

Ham and Swiss Casserole

I followed this recipe exactly. After reading the reviews I even measured out 2 cups of noodles and ended up using about half a 12 oz bag. It's a good start and I will definitely make it again, but next time with some changes. I did get the scrambled egg effect, but that was okay. My noodles did come out dry so next time either more milk or a can of crm of mush. soup.

Sauteed Portobellos and Spinach

So delicious!! I followed the recipe exactly except I did use 2 bunches of fresh spinach. I made this last night and my husband has already asked when I am making it again. The same husband that really doesn't like spinach...;)

Lemon Green Beans with Walnuts

This is a very fresh and tasy side. It was a bit too lemony for us. I will make again using less lemon and may even try slivered almonds instead of walnuts.

Cajun Chicken

We really enjoyed this chicken. I followed the recipe exactly (scaled down for 2) but since it was raining I cooked it in the oven on 350 for about 25-30 minutes. Great!!

YUM...YUM!!!! This is delicious. My favorite recipe from this site so far. Followed directions except I did double the sauce after reading the reviews and I did use 1 bunch of fresh spinach. Love it!!!!!!

Kathy's Roast and Vegetables

Great recipe. I've been looking for a roast recipe that I can use regularly and I am happy to say I have found it. I gave 4 stars b/c the top of my roast that wasn't covered with the soup came out a bit dry. Next time I will roll the roast in the soup to make sure all of it is covered and also maybe add some beef broth.

Wonderful!!! Made it exactly as the recipe instructed and LOVED it! Seved over whole wheat egg noodles. I'm definitley making again maybe adding mushrooms and some spinach. Yummmmm.

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

This was really good. I usually try to follow the recipe exactly the first time I try a new dish. But, after reading the reviews I made 2 small changes. I only used 1/2 of the soup mix and a 1/2 cup of the red wine b/c my husband does not like it at all, so I didn't want it to be overpowering. I replaced the other 1/4 cup with water. I made a gravy from the juices and it was great...still very salty but wonderful with mashed potatoes. I made it after work so I didn't have time to use the crock pot, I baked it at 325 for about 1 1/2 hours. Excellent meal.

Mushroom in the Middle Meatloaf

This was a decent meatloaf. I do like it better than one with ketchup. We don't eat a whole lot of meatloaf, but when we do this will be the one we have. Next time I'll try it with ground turkey with the sausage.

Vegetable Medley II

This is a good very low cal. side. We liked it alot but I think it needs some extra seasoning. Maybe next time I'll use some creole seasoning to spice it up a little.

Tuscan Soup

I really liked this soup; my husband thought it was just ok. But, he likes thicker heartier soups. I followed the recipe but used ff evap. milk and still tasted great. We had it with tomato basil mozz. paninis. YUM!!

Burrito Pie

SOOOOOOOOO Good!!! Definitely something we will have on a regular basis. I cut the recipe in half and it still made a ton. We had it for dinner last night and have plenty for leftovers. Followed the recipe and served it with sour cream and some jalapenos. YUMMMM!

Classic Spanish Sangria

Do not serve this to someone that doesn't like red wine. I loved these sangrias. My husband doesn't like red wine but wanted to try it;not good. they still have a very distinct red wine flavor. Perfect for those of us who love a glass or 2 of red.

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Excellent recipe. I made these over the weekend;the only hot sauce I had was Tabasco. We loved the wings and we love spicy foods, but these were just too hot and the sauce was very thin and watery. I made some more last night for just my husband and me using Texas Pete and it was perfect. They had the perfect amount of heat. I also followed the directions except for frying. I baked then in the oven for about 30 mins. at 350. I lightly sprinkled them with flour then sprayed cooking spray on them and they had a great crust coming out of the oven. Definetly recommend!!!
