My favorite family cooking traditions
I grew up in a family that didn't like cooking. So, with few exceptions, most of our meals were from a box. At a young age, I began playing in the kitchen and found my love of cooking and my love of food.
My cooking triumphs
My first cheesecake....that didn't crack. And the one and only time I made fried chicken that was edible...
My cooking tragedies
i can not deep fry anything. Being from the south, that is equivalent to a crime. I had a grease fire trying to make french fries. When I made fried chicken I either had it raw on the inside or I burnt on the outside.

Roasted Pork Loin
We tried this tonight and thought it was ok. I followed the recipe and the rosemary was a bit strong for us. I will probably make again, only use left rosemary and more garlic.

Olive and Blue Cheese Ball
I have made this several times and I always have to make myself stop eating it!!! I do think it tastes best if mixed a day ahead.

Chicken and Sun-Dried Tomato Bruschetta
All the other reviews are correct. This is a great recipe. It travels well too. I made it in the morning and refrigerated it fora few hours. We then took it with us out of town (about a 3 hr. drive) and it was still fantastic. I was afraid it would be too soggy from the dressing, but no problems. Everyone loved it!
