Hot and Sweet Dipping Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2009
All I can say is fabulous! This was the closest to "the right stuff" I've ever made! Excellent! I took the advise of others and added 1/2 Tbs. of cornstarch (for thickening). Great job! Too easy; just the way I like recipes. One day I got ambitious and made egg-rolls. So I had to find a dipping sauce. My family decided they preferred my 'stuff' to our favorite Chinese restaurant. What have I started?!

Easy Garlic Broiled Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2009
I just made this tonight for dinner. Excellent! My family doesn't like dark meat, so I used boneless, skinless, chicken breasts, as other reviews had suggested. Since the breasts were pretty thick, I pounded them until they were all the same thickness, so they'll be done at the same time. We like garlic, but I thought three tablespoons of garlic, might be too much. I was right. I used about a tablespoon and a half and it was plenty. I did add more black pepper and dried parsley. Also, as others had suggested, I used half butter and half olive oil. I baked mine for 15 mins. at 375 degrees; turned it once and re-applied baisting sauce; came out perfect. Next time, I will reduce the amount of soy sauce, though, because it was a little over-powering. Thanks again, for fulfulling my crtieria; fast, easy, and tasty.

Sausage Egg Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2008
This was easy, quick, and great tasting -all my criteria in one! I served this at Christmas morning brunch - with the relatives, and it dissappeared before my son-in-law could even get any! I took the advice of others; one pound of sausage; 12 eggs; 1 can of green chiles; 6 green onions; at least (probalbly more) 1/2 pound of fresh mushrooms; 8 ozs. of shredded colby mix, and 8 ozs. Italian shredded mixed cheeses. This reminds me of quiche; kind of the same texture. Once again, Allrecipe didn't fail me. Thanks, again.

Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2008
This receipe is great! It is a different take on a pasta meal. I had difficulty locating the "Italian-style" (Roma) tomatoes, so I just used regular tomatoes - diced. I was nervous adding the cup and a half of heavy cream (this isn't a dish for dieters) but it adds a creamy/tomatoey texture that is great. If you're looking for something a little different for dinner; if you like Italian sweet sausage; and pasta in general...try this one.

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2008
I'm always looking for good, quick, and easy; in that order. This was terrific! I added a glove of minced garlic (might be too much for the faint of heart) with the butter/cream cheese mixture. Once complete, I added about 1/2 to 3/4 of a pound of shrimp that I had cooked and shelled, prior to making the alfredo. My family loved it! This is a keeper! I couldn't believe how simple it was! Any novice cook could definately impress her (or his) most particular guest!

Almond Puff

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2007
I've used this recipe (or one just like it) for twenty years. I have yet to serve this - either at home or a party - that's it's not completely gone in minutes. It sounds complicated, but once you've made it, you'll realize how easy it is! Enjoy!

Extreme Banana Nut Bread 'EBNB'

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2006
My seven year old and I make this all the time. It's quick and easy...and tastes great! I line the loaf pan with parchment paper (available at most grocery stores) so we don't have problems getting it out of the pan. My whole family (and neighbors) enjoy this receipe. A g-r-e-a-t "in a pinch" receipe. Easy for a novice. I cut the receipe in half, when the family wants a little something sweet.
