Sugar Cookie Icing

Sets beautifully! Although I had to add extra milk to get it to a spreadable consistency. The amount of corn corn syrup and milk called for gave it the consistency of a pretty dense dough. Once I thinned it out, it was perfect!

The Best Meatloaf

Can't believe how good this is! I'm stuffed and still want to go get more. I used A1 and Italian herbed bread crumbs because that is what I had but didn't change anything else. Very moist but held together well. This will be made again and again!

Snow Ice Cream II

Haven't had snow ice cream since I was a kid. This is just how I remembered it! While the texture naturally isn't quite like real ice cream the flavor is!.

Pecan Pie V

Just made for the first time and it is amazing! I don't always love pecan pie because it can be too sweet. This really has a great flavor. The texture is nice and I don't know if maybe I over baked it a little but the top was almost a little crispy. In a great way! Kind of like my favorite brownies that are baked more on the surface a soft & gooey on the inside. Thumbs up from my family on this one!

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Loved this stuffing! I used really good bread but didn't have quite enough so added a little bagged stuffing crumbs. I also used pork sausage as that is my preference and next time think I'll use a spicier version. It was moist but didn't really hold together. I cut my bread into large chunks so will cut it smaller next time and add a little more liquid. But I will make it again. Absolutely delicious!

Absolutely Delicious Green Bean Casserole from Scratch

LOVED this recipe! Like others, it got my attention because it doesn't use anything from a can! With the frozen beans you can control how well done you want them. I prefer them nice and crisp which you definitely can't get from a can. I used shiitake mushrooms which we had marinated ourselves. The sour cream and lemon zest give the dish a nice bright tanginess and the crispy onions added a lot of flavor. I did use the cheddar cheese but just a little as I didn't want it to be too heavy and gooey. Great dish!
