About this Cook
I have a hard time finding recipes that I can make for one person. I don't mind leftovers but I don't want to be eating them 3 meals a day for 5 days! I find it's very hard to cook for just myself due to the packaging of food items. I have found some great recipes on this site however.
My favorite things to cook
Comfort foods and mexican food.
My cooking triumphs
I successfully made risotto! It turned out delicious.
My cooking tragedies
I have yet to make bacon without burning it!

Soy Sauce Substitute
Ran out of soy sauce for a marinade and was in a panic! I tried this not having very high hopes but was very pleasantly surprised! It absolutely MADE the marinade. Next time I am ditching the marinade and just using this.

Foolproof Rib Roast
as were many other reviewers, we were VERY hesitant to try this recipe. Leave a pricey piece of meat in an oven that's not on for 3 hours and never peek at it? Well I followed the instructions verbatim and ended up with an absolute PERFECT rib roast. There were cuts of meat to everyone's liking, rare, medium rare, and medium. Fantastic recipe. Thank you!

Savory Crescent Chicken
I love these, so easy to make, so easy to make them your "own" recipe. My personal suggestion is to try them once with won ton wrappers instead of crescent rolls. Just fry them up in oil and they have a savory delicious crunch.
