Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2005
This recipe was very easy and delicious. Tasted just as good as anything I've had in any restaurant! I added musrooms and doubled the parmesan cheese.

Roast Leg of Lamb with Rosemary

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2006
The lamb was pretty good (though I cooked mine a little too long). I also made turkey chops with the same mainade and they turned out better than the lamb. It was a little sweeter than I like my meat though.

Baked Salmon II

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2006
This recipe turned out GREAT! I left out the garlic, reduced the olive oil to 5Tbs, and used 4 salmon fillets. It turned out more flavorful than I expected.

Chicken Parmigiana

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2006
Chicken came out great. I made the mistake of thinking that the one jar of sauce would be enough for the chicken and a box of penne. Next time I'll use one jar for the chicken and one jar for the pasta. But with a nice salad and some french bread this meal was fantastic.

Home-Fried Potatoes

They were good, but I will boil potatoes for 20 or 25 minutes next time instead of 15.

Great recipe. I added a couple teaspoons of worcestershire sauce. I make a bunch and freeze them for later.

Banana Split Cake I

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2006
One of my freinds made this recipe last New Years and everybody LOVED it. The entire pan was gone in minutes. So I decided to make it for my pot lock at work and it was a hit! Everybody kept asking me for the recipe. This recipe is definitely being added to my regular rotation.

Butternut Squash Soup II

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2007
Great recipe! This was my first time eating or cooking with squash and it was excellent. I think I may have used more vegetables than suggested because I ended up using about 40oz of chicken stock instead of 32oz. But it still turned out delicious. This recipe will definitely go into my regular rotation of recipes. Thanks!

Don't know where I went wrong but these did not work for me . I followed the recipe exactly. This is the first recipe I've gotten off of here that didn't turn out well.

Great recipe. I used turkey andouille sausage because I like spicy food and it turned out great. I will definitely make this again!

Feta Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2008
Turned out better than expected. Drizzling butter over top makes chicken crisp on the outside. I'll make this again.

This dish smelled WONDERFUL. But the taste was very disappointing. Very bland. Maybe I didn't use the right curry.

Michelle's Blonde Chicken Chili

Great soup. Unusual flavor. Nice aroma. Sort of Mexican taste (I guess because of the chiles). I used bonelss chicken thighs because they were cheaper. Soup turned out great. Will definitely make again.

This was ok. Way too much butter for my taste. I won't be making this again.

This soup was pretty good. Buut I would not try to use it as a meal. It would make a nice accompaniment to a sandwich.

Black Beans and Rice

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2008
Great recipe. I've made this twice now. The first time I pretty much stuck to the recipe (used brown rice instead of white) and it was good but not as flavorful as I wanted. The second time I used canned SPICY black beans instead of the regular ones, added the spices as stated in the recipe, and used brown basmati rice. This produced the perfect flavor!

Wish I could give 3 1/2 stars. These were good but the cloves were a little odd. Not what I;m used to but good for a potluck or something. I might try these again.
