About this Cook
I am a highschool senior who likes to cook
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking spicy meals and foods, buy my absolute favorite kind of thing to cook is desserts that involve chocolate!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Well I am Cuban so the kind of food cooked around me is arroz y frijoles, puerco asado, fricase de pollo... and other fatty foods
My cooking triumphs
Cakes! I am great at making sweets and cakes. I could slaughter the original recipe and it will still taste good!
My cooking tragedies
Sauces don't really work to well for me... I'm not too good in blending the tastes of certain things. I usually just wing it.

Quinoa with Asian Flavors
Gah, salty!!!! I just finished making this (following the recipe as is) and it's so, so salty! Use reduced sodium broth and 1/2 the soy sauce. In the mean time, I'm going to work on making this taste better.

Vietnamese Tofu Salad
This dish is delicious! I made some changes, though: I added green peppers and onions and instead of veggie oil (or EVOO) I used sesame oil. Literally, this has been my dinner the past three days, and I'm not tired of it. I'm only sad that I've finished it. Oh, and no peanuts, I'm not a fan of their taste!

Last Minute Mushrooms
I made these, and they're good, if not a little plain.
